Product Overview

The Russell Collection Women's short sleeve Oxford shirt is a sophisticated staple for any professional wardrobe. Designed to help teams present a smart and consistent appearance, this garment combines the timeless appeal of an Oxford weave with a modern, tailored cut. It is an ideal solution for businesses looking to elevate their corporate identity through high-quality, reliable workwear.

Key Features
  • Classic Two-Button Collar: The structured collar stand provides a crisp, formal appearance that maintains its shape throughout the working day.
  • Tailored Darts: Specifically designed with darts at the bust line and back, this shirt offers a flattering, feminine fit that avoids the bulk of unisex alternatives.
  • Shaped Hemline: The rounded hem provides a neat finish whether the shirt is worn tucked in for a formal look or left out for a more contemporary style.
  • Extensive Size Range: Available from XS through to 6XL, ensuring that every member of your team can be accommodated in a uniform that fits correctly.

Design & Performance

Crafted from a blend of 70% cotton and 30% polyester, this shirt offers a superior balance of comfort and practicality. The cotton-rich fabric is breathable and soft against the skin, while the polyester component adds essential durability and resistance to creasing. This ensures the wearer remains comfortable and looks presentable even during long shifts.

The fabric is substantial and well-engineered, providing a professional weight that drapes beautifully without being heavy. It is a robust choice for daily wear, designed to withstand the rigours of a busy professional environment while maintaining its high-quality finish and colour integrity.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The refined weave of the Oxford fabric makes it an excellent candidate for customisation. For a truly prestigious and professional finish, we recommend embroidery. This is the ideal method for displaying company logos or staff names, as the stitching integrates perfectly with the fabric's texture for a high-end look.

For organisations requiring larger or more vibrant branding, this shirt is also suitable for high-quality printing. Our expert in-house team in Telford has been customising workwear since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with precision and care to represent your business exactly as intended.

Use Cases

This shirt is a versatile choice for a wide range of industries. It is particularly favoured by front-of-house staff in the hospitality sector, corporate office teams, and retail professionals. Its smart appearance makes it perfect for client-facing roles where first impressions are critical.

Practical Advice

This shirt is designed with a tailored fit. When selecting your size, please refer to our sizing guide; because of the integrated darts, those who prefer a more generous fit may wish to consider ordering one size larger than their usual measurement. It layers exceptionally well under v-neck jumpers or blazers for a complete corporate look.

Caring for your product

To preserve the tailored shape and fabric quality of your Oxford shirt, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. This temperature is effective for removing standard office or hospitality stains without placing undue stress on the fabric fibres or any custom embroidery.

The garment is suitable for tumble drying, which can help to reduce the need for intensive ironing. We recommend removing the shirt from the dryer promptly to minimise wrinkling. Avoiding harsh chemicals and bleaches will ensure that the colour remains vibrant and the custom branding stays intact for the life of the garment.
