Product Overview

The Russell Collection Long Sleeve Tailored Oxford Shirt is a cornerstone of professional workwear, designed to provide a consistent and sophisticated appearance for entire teams. This garment takes the traditional Oxford weave—known for its distinctive texture and durability—and updates it with a contemporary tailored fit that eliminates excess fabric for a sharper silhouette.

Key Features
  • Stiffened semi-cutaway boned collar: This design ensures the collar retains its crisp, professional shape throughout the day, whether worn with or without a tie.
  • Contemporary tailored fit: Provides a streamlined look that follows the contours of the body, offering a modern alternative to traditional, boxy shirt styles.
  • Adjustable 2-button cuffs: The rounded edge cuffs offer versatility in styling and include the option for cufflinks for more formal corporate occasions.
  • Rounded hem: Designed to look professional when tucked in, while providing enough length to remain secure during movement.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a high-quality blend of 70% cotton and 30% polyester, this lightweight Oxford shirt balances natural breathability with the practical benefits of synthetic fibres. The cotton content ensures comfort against the skin, while the polyester adds essential strength and crease resistance. The 'Easycare' finish is a significant performance benefit, meaning the shirt requires minimal ironing and remains looking fresh through long shifts in demanding environments like hospitality or corporate sales.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The structured nature of the Oxford weave makes this shirt an excellent candidate for customisation. For a classic, high-end professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. Our in-house team uses precision machinery to ensure logos and staff names are rendered with absolute clarity. If your branding requires large, bold graphics for events or promotional wear, our printing services provide a sharp, vibrant finish. All customisation is managed at our Telford-based facility, where we have been perfecting our craft since 1976.

Use Cases

This shirt is an ideal choice for customer-facing roles where first impressions are paramount. It is widely used across the hospitality sector, corporate offices, and by sales representatives who require a uniform that remains smart from the first meeting to the last. With a wide size range and various fit options, it is perfect for creating a unified brand image across a diverse workforce.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has nearly fifty years of industry expertise. Established in 1976, we have grown from a small operation into a leading UK supplier. Our Telford facility is staffed by experts who understand the technical nuances of garment customisation, ensuring that every shirt leaving our doors meets our rigorous standards for quality and durability.

Practical Advice

This shirt is available in half-inch neck sizes ranging from 14.5" to 19.5". To ensure the best results, we recommend measuring your neck size accurately before ordering. Given the tailored fit, if you prefer a more relaxed feel across the chest and waist, you may wish to consider the classic fit equivalent in the Russell range.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and professional finish of your shirt, it is designed for a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at this temperature effectively removes everyday stains without causing undue stress to the fabric fibres or any custom embroidery.

This garment is suitable for tumble drying, which can help to keep the fabric soft. We recommend removing the shirt from the dryer while it is still slightly damp and hanging it immediately; this simple step maximises the benefits of the Easycare finish and significantly reduces your ironing time.
