Russell Athletic Collection Long sleeve easycare fitted shirt

Product Overview

The Russell Collection Long Sleeve Easycare Fitted Shirt is a sophisticated choice for professionals who require a sharp, contemporary appearance without sacrificing the comfort needed for a full working day. This garment expertly balances an elegant aesthetic with the practical demands of modern workwear, utilizing a high-quality fabric blend that offers both softness and structural integrity. The fitted cut ensures a streamlined silhouette that sits close to the body, providing a more modern alternative to traditional, boxy work shirts.

Key Features

• Smart semi-cutaway collar: The boned collar design maintains its shape throughout the day, ensuring you look professional even during the most demanding schedules.
• Mitred 2-buttoned adjustable cuff: These versatile cuffs allow for a precise fit around the wrist, with an additional button on the cuff gauntlet for extra security and a refined finish.
• Back yoke with side pleats: The inclusion of two side pleats in the back yoke provides the wearer with an increased range of movement across the shoulders, preventing the shirt from feeling restrictive.
• Mitred left chest pocket: A functional and discreet pocket provides a convenient space for small essentials while maintaining the shirt’s clean lines.
• Straight bottom hem: This design choice allows the shirt to be worn tucked in for a formal look or untucked for a slightly more relaxed, yet still professional, appearance.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a lightweight fabric blend of 97% cotton and 3% elastane, this shirt is engineered for performance. The high cotton content ensures exceptional breathability and natural comfort against the skin, which is vital for temperature regulation in office or hospitality environments. The addition of elastane provides a subtle stretch, allowing the fitted garment to move with the body rather than resisting it. This combination results in a shirt that is remarkably durable and easy to maintain, living up to its 'easycare' designation by resisting excessive creasing.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This shirt serves as an excellent canvas for your company branding. For a truly professional and authoritative look, we recommend embroidery. Our Telford-based team can apply high-quality embroidered logos or staff names to the chest or collar, providing a three-dimensional finish that withstands regular laundering. If your branding requires large, vibrant graphics, our precision printing services are also available. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been perfecting these techniques in-house to ensure your team looks the part.

Use Cases

The fitted nature and elegant finish make this shirt ideal for front-of-house roles in the hospitality sector, corporate office environments, or sales teams who require a polished first impression. It is equally suited for formal events or as part of a high-end retail uniform.

Practical Advice

To ensure the best fit, please refer to the specific neck measurements provided in our size range, which extends from Small to 4XL. Given the fitted cut, those who prefer a more generous feel around the torso may wish to consider our classic-fit alternatives. This shirt layers exceptionally well under a V-neck jumper or a corporate blazer for a complete professional ensemble.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and professional appearance of your shirt, we recommend a standard domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at this temperature effectively removes daily grime without causing undue stress to the cotton fibres or the elastane, ensuring the shirt retains its shape and fit over time.

This garment is suitable for tumble drying. We advise using a low-to-medium heat setting to prevent over-drying, which can lead to brittle fibres. Following these instructions will also help preserve any custom embroidery or print, ensuring your branding remains as sharp as the day it was applied.
