Product Overview

The Result Women's baselayer softshell jacket is a sophisticated solution for professionals who require a lightweight, athletic layer that doesn't compromise on mobility. Engineered with a two-layer bonded fabric, this jacket provides a tailored, shapely fit specifically designed for the female form. It is an ideal choice for those who need to travel light while maintaining a professional appearance in varying weather conditions.

Key Features
  • Three Zip-Closing Pockets: Two side pockets and one chest pocket provide secure storage for essential items, ensuring your tools and personal devices remain safe while you work.
  • Concealed Inner Storm Flap: This internal barrier offers an extra layer of protection against wind penetration, keeping you comfortable in exposed environments.
  • Tear-Release Adjustable Cuffs: These allow for a customisable fit around the wrists, preventing draughts and ensuring the sleeves stay in place during physical activity.
  • Sport Mesh Inner: The internal mesh lining enhances breathability, aiding moisture management and keeping you fresh throughout the working day.

Design & Performance

The performance of this jacket lies in its advanced fabric composition. The outer layer, a blend of polyester and elastane, provides a two-way athletic stretch that accommodates a full range of motion. This is particularly beneficial for active roles where restrictive clothing is a hindrance.

Inside, the bonded fabric features quick-drying properties, making it a reliable choice for the unpredictable British weather. Despite its lightweight nature, the two-layer construction offers substantial durability, ensuring it withstands the rigours of daily wear while remaining soft to the touch.

Why No Customisation?

We provide this specific softshell jacket as a non-customised item to preserve the technical integrity of the two-layer bonded fabric. Adding embroidery or heat transfers to this particular baselayer could potentially compromise the internal storm flap or the quick-drying properties of the athletic stretch material. By supplying it in its original form, we ensure you receive the full performance benefits intended by the manufacturer.

Use Cases

This jacket is perfectly suited for female professionals in the logistics, events, or light technical sectors. Its sporty profile makes it ideal for outdoor adventures, site visits, or as a smart-casual layer for staff who are frequently in transit. It serves as an excellent lightweight barrier when a heavy coat is unnecessary but protection from the elements is still required.

Why MyWorkwear

MyWorkwear has been a trusted name in the industry since 1976. Operating from our expert facility in Telford, we bring decades of experience to every product we select for our range. We understand the specific needs of the UK workforce and pride ourselves on providing high-quality garments that offer both functionality and longevity.

Practical Advice

The jacket is available in a wide size range from XS (UK 8) to 2XL (UK 18). Because of its athletic, shapely fit, you may wish to consider the layers you intend to wear underneath; if you prefer a looser fit or plan to wear a heavy jumper beneath it, you might find the next size up more comfortable.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-performance qualities of the two-layer bonded fabric, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at this temperature effectively removes dirt and sweat while protecting the elastane fibres that provide the jacket's essential stretch.

Do not use bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the polyester outer and lead to premature fading. We also advise against ironing; the synthetic nature of the softshell material can be damaged by direct heat, which may cause the fabric to melt or lose its shape. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemical solvents used in the process can break down the bonding between the fabric layers.
