Product Overview
The Result Safeguard recycled dynamic stretch safety shorts represent a sophisticated approach to high-visibility workwear. Designed for the modern professional who requires both safety compliance and a smart, slim silhouette, these shorts offer a sustainable alternative to traditional synthetic workwear. They provide Class 1 visibility, making them an essential choice for those working in environments where being seen is a safety priority, yet the temperature demands more breathable attire than full-length trousers.
Key Features
- A comprehensive seven-pocket layout, featuring expandable back pockets, ensures you have ample space for tools and personal essentials.
- Treble-stitched critical seams provide reinforced strength at the points of highest stress, ensuring the garment survives the rigours of the job site.
- The side elasticated waistband with a high back design offers a secure, comfortable fit that remains in place during repetitive bending and lifting.
- Integrated hammer loop and belt loops provide the practical utility required by tradespeople for daily tasks.
- Printed safety bands offer the necessary high-visibility protection while allowing the fabric to retain its natural stretch and flexibility.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a technical blend of 50% recycled polyester twill and 50% elastomultiester, these shorts are engineered for longevity and comfort. This medium-weight fabric features a unique fibre structure that provides a wrinkle-free finish and excellent shape retention, meaning the garment 'springs back' even after a full day of movement. The fabric is inherently moisture-wicking, which facilitates the rapid evaporation of perspiration to keep the wearer cool and dry in warm conditions.
By opting for elastomultiester over traditional elastane, the garment offers increased resistance to damage and environmental wear. This design choice, combined with being TPU-free, aligns with a more sustainable approach to workwear without sacrificing the dynamic stretch required for physical labour. The slim fit provides a contemporary, professional appearance that is often lacking in standard safety garments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These shorts are perfectly suited for custom branding to ensure your team looks professional on every site. For a traditional and durable finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos or individual names. Embroidery provides a high-quality, three-dimensional look that withstands frequent laundering.
Alternatively, for larger or more complex designs, our high-quality printing process is an excellent option, offering bold and clear results. All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility by a team with expertise dating back to 1976, ensuring your branding is applied with precision and care.
Use Cases
These shorts are ideal for professionals in construction, logistics, and site management. The orange variant meets RIS-3279-TOM standards, making it suitable for rail industry applications. They are specifically designed for warm-weather use on any site where EN ISO 20471 Class 1 visibility is mandated.

Practical Advice
The slim-fit nature of these shorts provides a modern look, but the side elasticated waistband ensures there is still flexibility in the sizing. If you frequently carry heavy tools in your pockets, ensure you utilise the belt loops with a sturdy work belt to maintain the best fit. These shorts layer perfectly with our lightweight high-visibility polos for a complete summer uniform.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and the integrity of the recycled fibres, we recommend a domestic machine wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove workplace dirt while protecting the specialised elastomultiester fibres from heat damage.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents will cause the fluorescent pigments to fade rapidly and will weaken the polyester twill, compromising both the safety and the lifespan of the shorts.
If the shorts require pressing, use a low-temperature iron setting. Excessive heat can damage the printed safety bands and the stretch properties of the fabric. To ensure the longest possible life for your garment, avoid tumble drying and dry cleaning; instead, allow the shorts to air dry naturally to prevent shrinkage and fibre degradation.
