Product Overview

The Result Headwear RC38X is a refined take on the classic six-panel cap, offering a professional aesthetic through its distinctive herringbone weave. This medium-weight cotton cap departs from standard plain-weave headwear, providing a textured finish that elevates a simple accessory into a key component of a corporate or trade uniform. The design is characterised by its low profile and unsupported front panels, which allow for a more natural, relaxed fit against the head while maintaining a sharp appearance. A contrasting colour sandwich peak adds a subtle yet effective visual detail, ensuring your brand stands out without being overbearing.

Key Features
  • Six-Panel Construction: This traditional layout ensures a contoured, ergonomic fit that follows the shape of the head for all-day comfort.
  • Pre-Curved Peak with Six Stitch Lines: The reinforced peak maintains its shape over time and provides consistent protection from glare, while the detailed stitching adds structural integrity.
  • Contrasting Sandwich Peak: A sliver of alternative colour along the edge of the peak offers a sophisticated way to complement your corporate branding colours.
  • Stitched Eyelets: These provide essential ventilation, allowing air to circulate and keeping the wearer cool during long shifts or outdoor work.
  • Fabric Size Adjuster with Antique Brass Buckle: The high-quality brass hardware allows for a secure, customisable fit while adding a touch of classic style that outlasts plastic alternatives.

Design & Performance

Engineered from 100% cotton, the RC38X focuses on breathability and comfort. The herringbone weave is not merely a stylistic choice; it creates a more durable fabric surface that resists the typical wear and tear associated with daily use. Because the front panels are unsupported, the cap avoids the rigid, boxy look of traditional 'trucker' styles, making it better suited for professional environments where a more understated silhouette is required. The medium-weight fabric provides enough substance to feel premium without becoming heavy or uncomfortable in warmer conditions.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Result Herringbone Cap is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery. Given the textured nature of the herringbone weave, we often recommend embroidery for a truly professional and tactile finish. It is an ideal method for company logos or staff names, creating a durable and high-quality appearance that withstands the rigours of the workplace.

For larger, more intricate graphic designs, transfer printing is a highly effective alternative. This method allows for sharp detail and vibrant colours that remain prominent against the fabric. All customisation is carried out in-house at our Telford facility, where our expert team—backed by MyWorkwear's heritage dating back to 1976—ensures every cap meets our exacting standards before being dispatched.

Use Cases

This cap is a versatile choice for a wide range of sectors. It is particularly well-suited for front-of-house staff in the hospitality industry, site supervisors in construction who require a smart appearance, or for promotional events where a standard cap simply won't suffice. Its unisex design and adjustable fit make it an easy choice for outfitting a diverse workforce.

Practical Advice

The RC38X is a 'one size fits most' garment. The fabric adjuster at the rear is simple to operate, allowing the wearer to find a secure fit regardless of head size. If you are layering this with other PPE, such as ear defenders, the low-profile design ensures it remains comfortable without interfering with other equipment.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the crisp look of the herringbone weave, this cap should be sponged clean only. Using a damp cloth allows you to remove surface dirt without saturating the internal structure of the peak, which could cause it to lose its shape.

You must avoid bleaching this garment, as harsh chemicals will strip the dye from the cotton fibres and ruin the contrasting sandwich peak detail. Similarly, the cap should not be tumble dried or ironed; excessive heat can damage the internal stiffeners in the peak and cause the cotton to shrink or warp.

Do not dry clean this product. Professional cleaning solvents are too aggressive for the fabric and the brass buckle, potentially leading to discolouration or corrosion of the hardware.
