Product Overview
The Result Headwear RC10X is a substantial, professional cap designed for those who require headwear that balances style with long-term reliability. Crafted from heavyweight brushed cotton drill, this six-panel cap offers a sophisticated low-profile silhouette that sits closer to the head for a more refined appearance. Unlike standard caps, the unsupported front panels provide a softer, more flexible fit that conforms naturally to the wearer’s head, making it an excellent choice for a uniform that needs to look smart throughout a busy working day.
Key Features
- 6-Panel Construction: This classic design ensures a structured and comfortable fit that retains its shape even after prolonged use.
- Unsupported Front Panels: By removing the stiff internal structure from the front, the cap achieves a more relaxed, natural look that is often preferred for comfort and versatility.
- Pre-Curved Peak: Featuring four rows of reinforced stitching, the peak arrives ready-shaped to shield your eyes and maintains its curvature over time.
- Antique Brass Buckle: The fabric size adjuster is finished with a high-quality brass buckle, allowing for a secure, personalised fit while adding a touch of traditional craftsmanship.
- Stitched Eyelets: Integrated ventilation holes promote airflow to the scalp, keeping the wearer cool during physical activity or in warmer environments.
Design & Performance
The primary strength of the RC10X lies in its fabric composition. The 100% heavy brushed cotton drill provides a thick, sturdy texture that feels significantly more substantial than standard lightweight alternatives. The brushing process creates a soft-touch finish, ensuring that despite its durability, the cap remains comfortable against the skin. This cap is also Amfori BSCI accredited, signifying that it is manufactured under ethical working conditions—a vital consideration for modern businesses prioritising social responsibility in their supply chain.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The RC10X is an ideal canvas for corporate branding, supporting both embroidery and transfer printing. For a professional appearance, we recommend embroidery; the heavyweight cotton drill provides a stable base for high-density stitching, making it perfect for company logos or staff names. If your branding requires large, vibrant graphics or intricate detail, transfer printing is an excellent alternative. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting these techniques since 1976 to ensure your brand is represented with precision.
Use Cases
This cap is well-suited for a wide range of professional environments. It is an essential item for tradespeople working on-site who need protection from the sun, as well as for hospitality staff or delivery drivers who require a cohesive, branded appearance. Its stylish low profile and brass hardware also make it a popular choice for promotional merchandise and corporate events where a higher-quality garment is required to reflect the brand’s value.

Practical Advice
As a 'one size' garment, the RC10X is designed to fit most adults comfortably. Use the brass buckle adjuster at the rear to find the most secure fit; a snug fit will prevent the cap from shifting in windy conditions or during active movement. Because of the heavyweight cotton construction, this cap layers well with waterproof jackets or sweatshirts without appearing bulky.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and colour of your heavyweight cotton cap, it is important to follow specific maintenance steps. Neglecting these can lead to fabric degradation or damage to your custom branding.
This garment should be sponge cleaned only. Submerging the cap in a washing machine can cause the internal peak structure to warp and the heavy cotton to shrink. Use a damp cloth and mild detergent to spot-treat any marks, ensuring the cap remains in its original shape.
Do not use bleach, as this will aggressively strip the dye from the cotton drill and weaken the fibres. Similarly, do not dry clean or tumble dry the cap; the high heat of a dryer can cause the cotton to contract and may damage the adhesive used in printed designs. Always allow the cap to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
Avoid ironing the cap. The heat from an iron can scorch the brushed cotton surface and melt the threads used in embroidery or the films used in printing, leading to irreversible damage to your logo.
