Product Overview
The Result Genuine Recycled Junior microfleece top (R905J) represents a sophisticated approach to sustainable junior workwear. This lightweight over-the-head fleece is engineered from high-quality perPETual yarns, repurposing approximately 12 one-litre plastic bottles per garment. It provides a luxurious feel without unnecessary bulk, making it an ideal choice for active youngsters in various professional and educational settings where comfort and mobility are paramount.
Key Features
YKK NATULON 1/4 front zip: Utilising world-renowned YKK hardware ensures long-term reliability and ease of use for children, reducing the risk of mechanical failure during daily wear.
Soft bound elasticised cuffs and hem: These provide a secure, comfortable fit that retains body heat and prevents the sleeves from interfering with activities or schoolwork.
Decorative body stitching: This feature adds a professional aesthetic finish, ensuring the garment looks appropriate for formal club or school representation.
Breathable, quick-dry fabric: The moisture-wicking properties allow for rapid evaporation of perspiration, keeping the wearer dry and comfortable throughout the day.
PFC-free construction: This choice ensures the garment is produced without harmful fluorochemicals, aligning with modern safety and environmental standards.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% recycled polyester, the fabric performance is prioritised through its breathable and easy-wash characteristics. The use of perPETual yarns—some of the highest quality recycled fibres available—ensures a consistent texture that is soft against the skin while remaining durable enough for the rigours of the playground. Despite its lightweight fabric profile, this microfleece offers excellent thermal retention as a mid-layer, while the integrated hang loop provides a practical storage solution in school cloakrooms.
Customisation: Embroidery Only
Due to the specific high-pile texture of the microfleece, we offer embroidery as the exclusive customisation method for this garment. While heat-based printing methods may struggle to adhere to or can damage the fleece fibres, embroidery provides a professional, three-dimensional finish that is permanently anchored into the fabric. Our Telford-based embroidery team, with expertise dating back to 1976, ensures that every stitch is precise, ensuring your school or club logo remains sharp and secure even after extensive laundering.
Use Cases
This garment is perfectly suited for junior school uniforms, youth sports clubs, and event-based volunteering. Its lightweight profile makes it an excellent all-season layer; it fits comfortably under heavy coats in the winter and serves as a reliable outer layer during cooler spring or autumn mornings. The tear-out tag also makes it a popular choice for organisations looking to provide unbranded comfort with a professional finish.

Practical Advice
When selecting sizes, please refer to our age-based guide which ranges from XS (4/6 years) through to XL (12/14 years). This fleece is designed for a streamlined, functional fit; if the student intends to wear heavy knitwear or multiple layers underneath, we recommend choosing a larger size to ensure ease of movement.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and recycled properties of this microfleece, we recommend a domestic machine wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove daily dirt while preserving the elasticity of the cuffs and hem.
Do not use bleach, as harsh chemical agents will degrade the recycled polyester fibres and cause premature thinning of the fabric. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided to prevent chemical damage to the specialised perPETual yarns.
It is vital that you do not iron or tumble dry this garment. Microfleece is naturally quick-drying and highly heat-sensitive; exposure to high temperatures from an iron or dryer can melt the synthetic fibres, leading to a loss of softness and potentially damaging the embroidered branding.
