Product Overview
The Result Core windcheater is a meticulously engineered solution for professionals who require weather protection without the restrictive bulk of a traditional jacket. This unlined garment is focused on functionality, offering a lightweight barrier against the elements that can be easily folded down and stored when not in use. It represents an efficient, unfussy approach to workwear, providing a windproof layer that performs consistently in unpredictable environments.
Key Features
- Windproof and Lightweight Construction: Designed to block wind effectively while remaining exceptionally light, ensuring you stay protected without feeling weighed down during active tasks.
- Concealed Hood in Collar: Features an adjustable hood that can be stowed away when not required, providing versatile protection against sudden showers.
- Front Chest Vent Panels: Integrated ventilation allows for improved airflow, helping to regulate body temperature and prevent the build-up of moisture during physical exertion.
- Secure Storage with MP3 Access: Includes two front pockets, one of which is zipped for security, alongside a dedicated MP3 cable holder for those who require connectivity on the move.
- Elasticated Cuffs: These provide a secure fit at the wrists, preventing wind ingress and ensuring the sleeves stay in place while you work.
Design & Performance
The performance of this windcheater is rooted in its 190T Polyester fabric with an AC coating. This specific coating enhances the windproof capabilities of the material, creating a resilient outer shell that stands up to blustery conditions. Because the jacket is unlined, it remains highly breathable and flexible, moving with the wearer rather than resisting them. The full front zip fastening is robust and designed for frequent use, ensuring the garment remains a reliable part of your daily uniform for the long term.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is particularly well-suited for a variety of branding techniques. For businesses looking to achieve a professional, established appearance, embroidery is an excellent choice for chest logos or staff names. The fabric’s weave holds stitches securely, providing a clean and durable finish.
Alternatively, for larger promotional designs or bold branding on the back, we offer high-quality print options including direct print and digital transfers. These methods ensure vibrant colour reproduction that stands out. All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility, where our team has been perfecting the art of workwear branding since 1976.
Use Cases
The Result Core windcheater is an ideal choice for outdoor event staff, delivery drivers, and site supervisors who need a quick layer to throw over a polo shirt or sweatshirt. It is equally effective for light construction work or agricultural tasks where wind protection is more critical than heavy insulation. Its compact nature also makes it a sensible choice for corporate kits where space is at a premium.

Practical Advice
As this is an unlined, lightweight garment, we recommend using it as part of a layering system. It works best when worn over a moisture-wicking base layer or a thermal mid-layer in colder conditions. Regarding fit, the range spans from Small to 2XL, providing a comfortable silhouette that allows for movement without being overly baggy.
Caring for your product
To maintain the integrity of the AC coating and ensure your branding remains in peak condition, we recommend a domestic wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can prematurely degrade the windproof treatment and may affect the adhesion of printed logos.
The use of bleach must be strictly avoided. Bleach is an aggressive chemical that will strip the protective coating from the polyester and lead to significant discolouration of both the fabric and your custom embroidery.
When it comes to drying, do not use a tumble dryer. The high heat and mechanical action can damage the synthetic fibres and cause printed designs to crack or peel. Instead, allow the garment to air dry naturally.
If ironing is required to maintain a crisp appearance, use a low heat setting only. Polyester is heat-sensitive; an iron that is too hot can glaze or melt the fabric surface. Always iron on the reverse of any printed areas to protect the design.
