Product Overview
The Regatta Professional Thor 300 fleece is a staple of our outdoor workwear range, designed specifically for those who require substantial warmth without sacrificing professional appearance. Crafted from high-quality anti-pill Symmetry fleece, this heavy-weight garment is engineered to withstand the rigours of a demanding working environment while maintaining its soft-to-the-touch feel. Whether you are facing a biting wind on a construction site or managing a cold warehouse, the Thor provides a reliable layer of insulation that is both durable and quick-drying.
Key Features
- 300 Series Anti-Pill Symmetry Fleece: This advanced fabric treatment prevents the bobbling often associated with lower-quality fleeces, ensuring your team looks professional for longer.
- Two Zipped Lower Pockets: Secure storage for essential tools or personal items, preventing loss during active movement.
- Adjustable Shockcord Hem: Allows the wearer to pull the garment tight against the body, effectively sealing in heat and keeping out cold draughts.
- Fleece Cuffs: Soft, elasticated cuffs provide a comfortable fit around the wrists, preventing wind from entering the sleeves.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% polyester, the Thor fleece is designed for performance in varied conditions. The Symmetry fleece fabric is particularly notable for its super-soft finish, which provides immediate comfort upon wearing. Despite its substantial feel and insulating properties, the fabric is surprisingly quick-drying, making it an excellent choice for unpredictable British weather. The heavy-weight nature of the material provides a secure, protective feel that lighter alternatives simply cannot match, offering a robust barrier against the elements throughout the working day.
Customisation: Embroidery Only
This garment is exclusively available for embroidery, and for good reason. The deep pile of high-quality fleece makes it an unsuitable surface for heat-press printing, which can struggle to adhere and may damage the fabric's texture. Embroidery, however, allows your logo to be stitched directly into the fibres, creating a premium, long-lasting finish that moves with the garment. Since 1976, our in-house embroidery team in Telford has mastered the art of the perfect stitch, ensuring your branding is as durable as the fleece itself.
Use Cases
This fleece is an ideal choice for tradespeople, delivery drivers, and site managers who spend significant time outdoors or in unheated environments. Its professional cut and durable finish also make it a popular choice for corporate team-wear, providing a unified and smart appearance for staff working in forestry, facilities management, or outdoor event coordination.

Practical Advice
The Thor fleece is designed with a generous fit to allow for layering over base layers or shirts. When selecting your size, please note the range extends from S to 3XL, covering chest sizes up to 50 inches. For those working in particularly harsh conditions, this fleece performs exceptionally well when worn under a waterproof shell jacket, acting as a highly effective thermal mid-layer.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and longevity of your fleece, we recommend a cool machine wash using pure soap flakes. Standard detergents can sometimes be too harsh for the Symmetry fleece fibres, whereas soap flakes help maintain the fabric's soft texture and insulating loft.
It is vital to avoid bleaching this garment, as it will degrade the polyester fibres and cause discolouration. Similarly, do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean the fleece. High heat from irons or dryers can melt the synthetic fibres and cause permanent damage to your embroidered logo. We advise closing all fasteners before washing to prevent the zips from snagging the fabric, and please keep the garment away from solvents, alcohols, and insecticides, which can compromise the fabric integrity.
