Product Overview
The Regatta Professional Pro work socks are engineered to provide a reliable and comfortable foundation for long shifts in demanding environments. Supplied in a practical pack of five, these socks ensure a fresh supply for the entire working week. Constructed from a balanced blend of natural and synthetic fibres, they offer the breathability of cotton alongside the structural integrity of polyester and polyamide. Designed specifically for those who spend significant time on their feet, they prioritise durability without sacrificing the wearer's comfort.
Key Features
- Hard-wearing loop stitch design: This specific knitting technique creates a more resilient fabric surface, significantly extending the lifespan of the sock in high-friction areas.
- Cushioned heel and toe: These reinforced zones provide essential impact absorption, reducing foot fatigue during prolonged periods of standing or walking on hard surfaces.
- Ribbed ankle cuff: The cuff is designed to provide extra support and ensure the sock remains securely in place, preventing it from slipping down into your footwear.
- Ethically sourced: Certified by both Reach and the Ethical Trading Initiative, ensuring that your workwear meets rigorous global standards for safety and fair labour practices.
Design & Performance
The performance of the Pro work sock lies in its material composition. With 65% cotton, the fabric allows for natural moisture management, keeping feet dry and comfortable. The addition of 30% polyester provides the necessary strength to withstand the rigours of heavy-duty boots, while a touch of elastane ensures the sock retains its shape and provides a snug, supportive fit. The medium-weight construction makes them versatile enough for year-round use, providing warmth in winter while remaining breathable enough for warmer conditions.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation for these socks because the fabric's high elastane content and knit structure are not suitable for embroidery or heat-applied printing. Furthermore, any application of branding to a sock would likely cause discomfort to the wearer and compromise the integrity of the garment due to the constant friction and stretching it undergoes inside a boot.
Use Cases
These socks are ideally suited for professionals working in agriculture, equestrian environments, or on construction sites. They are the perfect companion for heavy-duty safety boots, providing the necessary padding to prevent blisters and discomfort during active outdoor work.

Practical Advice
These socks are provided in a versatile 'one size' fit, designed to accommodate most adult foot sizes comfortably. For those working in exceptionally cold conditions, these socks can be paired with a liner sock, though their substantial construction is usually sufficient for standard UK outdoor conditions.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and longevity of your work socks, we recommend a standard machine wash. Following the manufacturer’s instructions ensures the cotton fibres remain soft while the synthetic elements maintain the sock's elastic properties.
You must avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will break down the polyester and elastane fibres, leading to a loss of shape and structural failure. When drying, use a low heat setting on your tumble dryer. Excessive heat can shrink the cotton and damage the elasticity of the ribbed cuff.
Ironing is entirely unnecessary and should be avoided, as the direct heat from an iron will melt the synthetic components. Similarly, dry cleaning is not recommended, as the chemical processes involved can degrade the specialised loop stitch design.
