Caring for your product
To ensure your bodywarmer continues to provide effective insulation and maintains its professional appearance, it requires proper maintenance.
We recommend a cool machine wash using Regatta Isotex cleaner or a pure soap. Conventional detergents can sometimes contain additives that break down the water-repellent finish, so using the correct cleaning agent is vital for the garment's longevity.
Do not use bleach. Harsh chemicals will weaken the polyester fibres and can cause significant damage to the synthetic Warmloft insulation, reducing its ability to keep you warm.
Tumble dry on a low setting. This is actually beneficial for the insulation as it helps to 'fluff up' the synthetic down, ensuring it retains its loft. However, excessive heat must be avoided to prevent damage to the synthetic components.
Use a cool iron if necessary. High temperatures can melt synthetic fabrics, so if you must remove creases, ensure the iron is on its lowest setting. Do not dry clean, as the industrial solvents used in the process are too aggressive for the technical coatings and insulation of this garment.
