Product Overview

The Regatta Professional 4-Tex stretch holster trousers represent a significant advancement in functional workwear, combining unrestricted movement with high-specification durability. Designed for the active tradesperson, these trousers utilise a high-performance 4-way stretch fabric that adapts to your posture, whether you are climbing ladders or working in confined spaces. The inclusion of hard-wearing stretch ripstop panels ensures that the garment withstands the rigours of the site without compromising on flexibility, offering a sophisticated solution for those who require both agility and resilience in their daily attire.

Key Features
  • 4-way stretch fabric: A blend of 92% nylon and 8% elastane provides maximum range of motion and all-day comfort for physically demanding roles.
  • Hard-wearing stretch ripstop panels: Strategically integrated to provide essential durability in high-friction areas without restricting movement.
  • Detachable holster pockets: Features a slide system for optional use, allowing you to customise your tool storage based on the requirements of the task at hand.
  • Triple-stitched reinforced seams: Engineered for superior strength, ensuring the trousers remain intact even under significant stress.
  • Laser-cut ventilation: Enhances breathability during intense activity, helping to regulate temperature throughout the working day.
  • Cordura bottom-loading kneepad pockets: Provides industry-leading abrasion resistance to protect the garment and your joints during floor-level work.
  • Extendable hem: Offers the flexibility to adjust the leg length, ensuring a precise fit for different user requirements.
  • Sustainable construction: Responsibly manufactured using recycled materials, meeting REACH and Ethical Trading Initiative standards.

Design & Performance

These trousers are constructed from a lightweight but incredibly resilient fabric blend that prioritises technical performance. The 4-Tex technology focuses on providing a balance between breathability and structural integrity. The 4-way stretch ensures that the fabric recovers its shape after use, avoiding the sagging or loss of form often associated with standard work trousers. By integrating Cordura into the kneepad pockets, Regatta has addressed a primary failure point in workwear, ensuring these trousers remain functional long after others have succumbed to wear and tear.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The high-specification fabric of the 4-Tex trousers is well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain a unified corporate identity. For a superior professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names, as it offers a textured, premium finish. If your branding requires larger, high-impact designs, our advanced printing techniques provide a crisp finish that maintains its clarity even as the fabric stretches. Every customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on nearly five decades of expertise since our establishment in 1976.

Use Cases

These trousers are specifically engineered for professional tradespeople, including electricians, joiners, and mechanical engineers, who require easy access to tools and complete freedom of movement. The detachable holster system makes them highly versatile, allowing the wearer to transition from a fully equipped site setup to a more streamlined appearance for client meetings or transit.

Practical Advice

The 4-Tex trousers feature an extendable hem, which is particularly useful for those who find themselves between standard leg lengths. Given the ergonomic, closer-to-body fit enabled by the elastane content, we recommend consulting our sizing guide to ensure the best balance between comfort and utility. These trousers layer effectively with lightweight base layers for winter work or can be worn alone in warmer conditions thanks to the integrated ventilation.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-performance stretch and technical finish of these trousers, we recommend a cool machine wash using Regatta Isotex Cleaner or a pure soap. Conventional detergents can contain harsh chemicals that may strip technical coatings, so using the correct cleaner will prolong the life of the fabric.

Do not use bleach, as this will weaken the nylon fibres and compromise the integrity of the triple-stitched seams, leading to premature failure. Similarly, do not tumble dry this garment; high heat can damage the elastane content, resulting in a loss of stretch recovery. Instead, allow the trousers to air dry naturally to retain their shape.

If ironing is necessary, use a cool setting to prevent heat damage to the synthetic fibres. Do not dry clean, as the industrial chemicals used in the process can degrade the Cordura reinforcements and the recycled material components. We also recommend washing dark colours separately and ensuring the garment is completely dry before storage to prevent mildew and colour fading from direct sunlight.
