Product Overview

The Regatta High Visibility Hi-Vis X-Pro T-shirt (Class 1) represents a sophisticated evolution in safetywear, combining modern fabric technology with essential protective standards. This medium-weight t-shirt is engineered for the professional who requires high visibility alongside superior comfort. By utilizing a blend of bamboo and recycled polyester, Regatta has created a garment that is as environmentally conscious as it is functional. Certified to EN ISO 20471:2013 +A1:2016 Class 1, it provides the necessary safety performance for low-light environments while offering a significantly softer feel than traditional synthetic alternatives.

Key Features

  • Innovative Bamboo Blend: The fabric uses a mixture of 55% bamboo and 45% polyester, providing natural antibacterial properties and exceptional moisture-wicking to keep you fresh throughout the working day.

  • Class 1 Visibility: Meets stringent safety regulations for visibility, featuring heat-applied reflective tape that ensures you are seen in hazardous or low-light conditions.

  • ID Reflection Technology: Strategically placed angled chevrons allow observers to quickly identify which direction you are facing, an essential safety feature for busy worksites.

  • UV Protection: With a UPF 40+ rating, the fabric acts as a barrier against the sun's harmful rays, making it indispensable for prolonged outdoor work.

  • Recycled Content: Part of a sustainable approach to workwear, this garment incorporates recycled materials without compromising on durability or performance.

Design & Performance

Performance is built into the very fibres of this t-shirt. The inclusion of bamboo not only offers a soft hand feel but also enhances the garment's ability to regulate temperature. To further assist with thermal management, underarm mesh panels have been integrated to provide ventilation where it is most required during physical exertion. The reflective tape is segmented on strategic panels, which allows the fabric to flex and move with the body, avoiding the restrictive sensation often found with solid reflective strips.

The design also considers long-term wearability. A cut-away inner label prevents neck irritation, while the well-engineered construction ensures the t-shirt maintains its shape through repeated wear. This is a garment designed for those who need to move freely while maintaining a professional appearance and meeting safety protocols.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This garment is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to tailor it to your business needs. Embroidery is an excellent choice for company logos or staff names, providing a durable, high-quality finish that enhances the professional appearance of your team. For larger, more vibrant designs, our printing process offers a sharp and visible result that stands out alongside the reflective safety elements.

Our expert in-house team at MyWorkwear, based in Telford, has been perfecting customisation since 1976. We ensure that every logo is applied with precision, maintaining the integrity of the garment's safety features while promoting your brand effectively.

Use Cases

The Hi-Vis X-Pro T-shirt is ideal for professionals working in sectors such as warehousing, delivery services, and light construction. It is particularly effective for tradespeople who spend significant time outdoors during the summer months, where the moisture-wicking properties and UV protection provide a distinct advantage. It is also suitable for any environment where Class 1 visibility is a mandatory safety requirement.

Practical Advice

This t-shirt features a standard fit that is true to size, allowing for comfortable movement. For those working in variable conditions, it serves as an excellent base layer; the bamboo blend will continue to manage moisture even when worn under a hi-vis jacket or fleece. We recommend checking our sizing guide to ensure the best fit for your team.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility performance and the technical properties of the bamboo fabric, we recommend a mild wash with a low spin cycle. This gentle approach helps to preserve the heat-applied reflective tape and ensures the garment remains compliant with safety standards for longer.

Bleach should never be used, as it will damage the reflective elements and degrade the natural fibres within the bamboo blend. We advise against tumble drying or ironing, as intense heat can cause the reflective tape to peel or melt and may adversely affect the polyester content. For the best results, wash the garment inside out, separate dark colours, and ensure it is not stored while damp or left in direct sunlight, as this prevents fabric degradation and fading.
