Product Overview

The Premier PR190 Swap & Pop Customisable Apron Body represents a modern, modular approach to staff uniforms. By separating the apron body from the straps, this system allows for unprecedented flexibility in colour coordination without the lead times or costs associated with fully bespoke garments. Designed to be paired with the PR191 straps, this apron body provides a clean, professional canvas for your branding while offering the practical benefits of a recycled polyester and cotton blend.

Key Features

  • Innovative Modular Design: The swap and pop system utilizes strong, self-coloured snap-action press studs to securely attach neckbands and waist ties, allowing for over 200 colour combinations.
  • Sustainable Fabric Composition: Made with certified recycled polyester, this garment supports corporate social responsibility goals without compromising on performance.
  • Functional Storage: Features a dedicated centre pocket with a combined pen pocket, alongside a self-fabric cloth holder to keep essential tools within reach during busy shifts.
  • Excellent Colourfastness: The polyester-cotton blend is engineered to retain its vibrant hue even after repeated industrial laundering, ensuring your team looks consistent over time.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a lightweight yet durable polycotton twill, the PR190 is designed for the high-pressure environment of the hospitality sector. The 65% recycled polyester provides strength and crease resistance, while the 35% cotton content ensures the fabric remains breathable for the wearer. The snap-action studs are engineered for security, ensuring that once the straps are attached, the apron functions as a single, robust unit. Its one-size-fits-all design simplifies inventory management for businesses with diverse teams.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth, tight weave of this apron body makes it an exceptional candidate for both print and embroidery. For a formal and lasting impression, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names; our high-tensile threads ensure the branding withstands the rigours of a professional kitchen or front-of-house role. Alternatively, for larger, more graphic-heavy designs, screen or heat-transfer printing offers a bold finish that remains sharp. All customisation is handled in-house by our expert team in Telford, drawing on nearly five decades of experience.

Use Cases

This apron is specifically designed for hospitality and catering environments where brand identity is paramount. It is equally suited for baristas in high-end coffee shops, waitstaff in contemporary restaurants, or retail professionals in artisanal food halls. The ability to switch strap colours makes it particularly useful for businesses that wish to differentiate between job roles or seasonal themes without purchasing entirely new sets of aprons.

Practical Advice

Please note that this product is the apron body only. To complete the garment, you must select your preferred colour of neckbands and waist ties from the PR191 range. When choosing your customisation, consider the placement of the centre pocket to ensure your logo is positioned for maximum visibility and does not interfere with the pocket's functionality.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and professional appearance of your apron, we recommend a domestic wash at 60°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove most organic stains encountered in hospitality while preserving the strength of the recycled polyester fibres.

Avoid the use of bleach at all costs. Bleaching agents will compromise the fabric's colourfastness and can weaken the synthetic fibres, leading to premature wear and fading of your embroidered or printed logo.

Tumble drying should be restricted to a low-temperature setting. High heat can cause the fabric to shrink unevenly and may affect the performance of the snap-action press studs. Similarly, iron on a low heat setting to remove wrinkles without scorching the fabric. Professional dry cleaning is not recommended, as the chemicals involved can degrade the recycled material and the adhesive used in certain print processes.
