Product Overview
The Premier Supreme poplin long sleeve shirt is a foundational garment for any corporate or hospitality uniform. It moves beyond the standard lightweight shirt by offering a more substantial fabric weight, which improves both the drape and the longevity of the garment. The semi-fitted cut provides a modern silhouette without compromising on the comfort required for a full day's work. With a stiffened formal collar, it remains sharp even under pressure.
Key Features
- The heavier weight poplin fabric offers enhanced durability, meaning the shirt maintains its shape and appearance through repeated wear and domestic laundry cycles.
- A stiffened formal cut collar ensures a crisp, professional presentation when paired with a tie or worn open.
- The button-fastened cuffs are designed for versatility, accommodating standard buttons or cufflinks for more formal occasions.
- A two-button fastening detail on the collar stand provides extra structure and a secure fit around the neck.
- The easy cut-out label allows for straightforward rebranding if you wish to add your own internal neck branding.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, this shirt utilises a plain poplin weave. This specific ratio is chosen for its Easycare properties; the polyester provides resistance to creases and mechanical stress, while the cotton ensures the fabric remains breathable against the skin. Because it is a more substantial weight than standard poplin, it offers better opacity and a more premium feel, making it less prone to the transparency common in lighter alternatives.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This shirt is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery, though the choice depends on your specific branding goals. For a traditional, high-end professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. The heavier weight fabric provides a stable base for dense needlework, ensuring your company logo or staff names sit flat and look sharp. If you require large, vibrant graphics for promotional events, our print processes deliver bold results that stand out.
Our experienced team in Telford has been perfecting garment customisation since 1976. We handle every stage of the process in-house, ensuring that the final product meets our rigorous standards before it reaches your door.
Use Cases
This garment is ideally suited for front-of-house hospitality staff, corporate office environments, and trade show representatives. Its robust construction also makes it a practical choice for security personnel or managerial roles on-site where a smart appearance must be maintained despite a demanding schedule.

Practical Advice
Available in collar sizes ranging from 14.5" to 19", the semi-fitted style is designed to be flattering. If you prefer a more relaxed fit or intend to wear a thermal base layer underneath during winter, you may wish to consider moving up one collar size. The shirt's stiffened collar is specifically designed to complement both plain and patterned ties without losing its shape.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and professional appearance of this shirt, it should be laundered at a domestic temperature of 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the polyester fibres and lead to premature shrinkage or loss of the Easycare finish.
We advise washing the garment inside out. This protects the outer surface of the fabric and any applied customisation from the abrasive action of the washing machine drum, extending the life of your embroidery or print.
Dark colours must be washed separately. This prevents dye transfer, which can dull the appearance of lighter garments or affect the clarity of your branded logos. Following these steps ensures your uniform remains a professional asset for the long term.
