Product Overview

The Premier Calibre Bib Apron is a superior choice for professionals who require a blend of durability and aesthetic appeal. Crafted from a substantial 100% cotton canvas, this apron moves away from the rigid feel of traditional heavy-duty workwear, offering a surprisingly soft hand feel without compromising on its protective qualities. Whether you are managing a busy industrial kitchen or looking for a premium retail-quality garment for a boutique environment, this apron provides a professional silhouette that stands up to the rigours of daily service.

Key Features

  • Heavyweight Cotton Canvas: The use of 100% cotton canvas ensures the garment is resilient against abrasions and provides a sturdy barrier for the wearer.

  • Adjustable Knotted Neckband: The self-fabric strap is designed to be knotted through a large metal eyelet, allowing the user to customise the height and fit for maximum comfort during long shifts.

  • Generous Dimensions: Measuring 86cm in length and 72cm in width, this bib apron offers comprehensive coverage to protect clothing from spills and splashes.

  • Industrial Durability: Engineered to withstand high-temperature laundering, making it suitable for environments where hygiene and cleanliness are paramount.

Design & Performance

The design of the PR130 focuses on functional elegance. The heavy canvas fabric is substantial enough to handle the heat and activity of a commercial kitchen, yet its soft texture makes it comfortable for front-of-house staff. The metal eyelet detail is not merely decorative; it provides a reinforced point of contact for the neck strap, preventing the fraying or tearing often seen in lesser garments. This is a well-engineered apron designed for those who value longevity in their uniform.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This apron is an exceptional canvas for branding. For those seeking a professional and traditional finish, embroidery is highly recommended. Our in-house team in Telford uses high-quality threads that can withstand the frequent washing required in the hospitality sector, ensuring your logo remains sharp and professional over time.

Alternatively, the smooth surface of the heavy cotton canvas is ideal for large, bold print designs. This is particularly effective for promotional events or high-impact branding. At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting our customisation techniques since 1976, ensuring that every garment leaving our facility meets our exacting standards.

Use Cases

This versatile garment is ideally suited for staff in industrial kitchens, busy bars, and upscale restaurants. It is also an excellent choice for craft workshops or homeware environments where a premium, durable apron is required. The unisex design ensures it provides a consistent look for a diverse team.

Why MyWorkwear

MyWorkwear has been a specialist in the industry since 1976. Operating from our technical facility in Telford, we combine decades of expertise with modern customisation technology. We understand that your workwear is more than just a uniform; it is a representation of your business's standards, which is why we handle every order with meticulous attention to detail.

Practical Advice

As this is a one-size garment, the adjustable neckband is essential for achieving the correct fit. When setting up the apron for the first time, we recommend adjusting the knot while wearing the garment to ensure the bib sits at a comfortable and protective height on the chest.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and appearance of your apron, it is vital to follow the specific laundering instructions. A domestic wash at 60°C is recommended for standard cleaning, which helps to remove stubborn stains and bacteria accumulated during service.

For more demanding environments, this apron is capable of withstanding industrial washes up to 85°C. This high-temperature threshold ensures the highest levels of hygiene are met, though it should be noted that consistent high-temperature washing is best reserved for heavy soiling to preserve the longevity of the cotton fibres and any custom branding.
