Product Overview

The Women's Elasticated Trousers are a meticulously designed garment intended for professionals who require a sophisticated, tailored appearance without sacrificing physical mobility. These trousers are built to withstand the demands of a busy working environment, offering a refined silhouette that remains practical throughout the day.

Key Features

  • Back elasticated waist: This feature allows for unrestricted movement and a flexible fit, ensuring the wearer remains comfortable during active tasks or long shifts.
  • Sewn-in crease: Provides a permanent, sharp look that maintains a professional aesthetic with minimal maintenance.
  • Kingsmill Polycotton fabric: A high-performance blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that combines durability with breathable comfort.
  • Pre-shrunk material: The fabric is fully pre-shrunk to ensure that the trousers retain their original fit and shape even after repeated industrial or domestic laundering.
  • Superior dye retention: Designed to hold its colour, ensuring the black finish remains deep and professional over time.

Design & Performance

These trousers are crafted from our signature Kingsmill fabric, a medium-weight material known for its resilience and high-performance characteristics. The 65% polyester content provides essential strength and crease resistance, while the 35% cotton ensures the garment is comfortable against the skin for extended periods.

The construction focuses on durability, with a fabric weight that is substantial enough to handle daily wear while remaining lightweight enough for year-round use. The inclusion of the elasticated back waist is a thoughtful design choice that adapts to different body shapes, providing a secure fit that doesn't pinch or restrict.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth finish of the Kingsmill fabric makes these trousers an excellent candidate for customisation. For a truly professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. This method is ideal for adding small company logos or employee names, providing a textured, high-quality finish that withstands regular washing.

If your branding requires a larger or more vibrant application, our printing services are equally effective. Our in-house team in Telford has been handling workwear customisation since 1976, ensuring that every logo is applied with precision and care to maintain the professional integrity of your uniform.

Use Cases

These trousers are highly versatile and suitable for a variety of sectors, including corporate hospitality, retail, and light industrial work. They are particularly well-suited for roles that require a balance between a formal front-of-house appearance and the physical flexibility needed for back-of-house duties.

Practical Advice

The elasticated back waist offers a degree of flexibility in sizing, but for the best professional look, we recommend selecting your standard size. These trousers layer well with our range of smart shirts or polo shirts for a complete corporate uniform.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and professional appearance of these trousers, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Washing at higher temperatures may degrade the polyester fibres and affect the longevity of the garment.

Do not use bleach when cleaning this product. Bleaching agents will strip the high-quality dye and weaken the fabric structure, leading to premature wear and fading.

For best results, drip line dry the trousers. Avoid high-heat tumble drying to prevent unnecessary stress on the elasticated waistband and to maintain the sharpness of the sewn-in crease.

Iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C. This is sufficient to remove any minor wrinkles without risking heat damage to the polycotton blend. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the harsh chemicals used in the process are unnecessary for this robust fabric.
