Product Overview
The Sealtex Classic Winter Jacket is an essential piece of equipment for those who refuse to let the British weather dictate their working day. Designed as part of the All Weather Protection range, this jacket combines a robust, waterproof outer shell with a fully insulated interior to ensure the wearer remains both dry and exceptionally warm. Its generous fit is intended for ease of movement, while the classic navy finish provides a professional aesthetic suitable for various industries.
Key Features
- Waterproof Fabric with Welded Seams: The construction prevents water ingress through the material and the joins, ensuring you stay dry in heavy rain.
- Fully Insulated Lining: The internal padding traps heat effectively, providing critical warmth during the colder months.
- Studded Storm Flap: A zip fastening protected by a studded flap creates a secondary barrier against wind and driving rain.
- Generous Fit: Carefully engineered to allow for a full range of motion, ensuring comfort throughout a long shift.
- Ample Storage: Multiple pockets provide secure space for personal items and essential tools of the trade.
Design & Performance
The performance of this jacket lies in its Sealtex Classic fabric—a high-quality polyester tricot with a PU coating. This material is not only durable but also surprisingly flexible, avoiding the restrictive feel often associated with heavy-duty outerwear. The seams are welded rather than stitched, which is a superior method for ensuring total waterproof protection, as it eliminates the needle holes that often allow water to seep through.
Internally, the jacket features a polyester lining and filling that provides a substantial feel without being overly cumbersome. It meets EN 343 Class 4:1 standards for water penetration, offering peace of mind when working in exposed environments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Sealtex Classic Winter Jacket serves as an excellent canvas for your corporate identity. Because of its sturdy outer fabric, it can accommodate both print and embroidery with ease. We recommend embroidery for a sophisticated, long-lasting finish for company logos and staff names. For larger, more vibrant branding that needs to be seen from a distance, our high-quality printing process is an ideal choice.
All customisation is handled by our expert in-house team at our facility in Telford. With a heritage stretching back to 1976, we ensure that every logo is applied with the precision and care your brand deserves.
Use Cases
This jacket is a versatile choice for anyone working outdoors. It is particularly well-suited for site managers, construction workers, and delivery drivers who require a professional appearance without sacrificing protection from the elements. It is also an excellent option for staff working in cold storage or unheated warehouse environments where consistent warmth is required.

Practical Advice
The generous fit of this jacket is designed with layering in mind. We recommend selecting your standard size, which will typically leave enough room for a sweatshirt or fleece underneath on particularly bitter days. Ensure the storm flap is fully fastened to maximise the jacket's thermal and waterproof properties.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the integrity of the Sealtex Classic fabric is straightforward but requires adherence to specific guidelines to ensure longevity. We recommend a mild wash process at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using higher temperatures or harsh cycles may damage the PU coating and affect the jacket's waterproof capabilities.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the fabric and cause the colour to fade. The jacket should be drip line dried only; using a tumble dryer can cause the welded seams to fail and the fabric to shrink. Finally, do not iron or dry clean this garment, as the heat and chemicals used in these processes are incompatible with the waterproof coating.
