Product Overview
The PW3 Hi-Vis Zip Sweatshirt (Style PW370) represents a well-engineered solution for professionals who require a blend of modern design and essential safety functionality. This medium-weight garment is defined by its distinctive appearance, combining high-visibility orange with contemporary black contrast panels. By utilising Portwest's specialised HiVisTex Pro reflective tape, the sweatshirt ensures the wearer remains clearly visible in low-light environments without compromising on the garment's aesthetic appeal.
Key Features
- HiVisTex Pro Reflective Tape: The segmented tape design provides increased flexibility and breathability compared to traditional solid tapes, allowing for greater freedom of movement during physical tasks.
- Secure Storage: Equipped with three zipped pockets, this sweatshirt offers ample and secure space for tools, mobile devices, or personal items, ensuring they remain protected while you work.
- Soft Handle Fabric: The 100% polyester fabric is engineered to have a soft handle, providing significant comfort against the skin for extended wear.
- Contrast Panelling: The black panels are strategically positioned to help hide dirt and grease in areas prone to soiling, maintaining a professional appearance throughout the working week.
Design & Performance
Constructed from high-quality 100% polyester, the PW370 is designed for durability in demanding work environments. The fabric's medium-weight nature provides a layer of warmth suitable for transitional seasons or as part of a layering system in colder conditions. The technical construction ensures the garment is hard-wearing, resisting the typical abrasions found on-site while maintaining its shape and colour after multiple uses. The zip-front design adds a layer of practicality, allowing the wearer to regulate their temperature easily as work intensity fluctuates.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This sweatshirt is an ideal canvas for customisation, allowing businesses to reinforce their brand identity. Embroidery is a preferred choice for company logos or individual names, providing a sophisticated, professional finish that withstands the rigours of industrial laundering. For larger, high-impact branding, our printing services offer a clear and vibrant alternative. Our in-house team in Telford, established in 1976, manages all customisation projects with expert precision, ensuring your logo is applied to the highest standards.
Use Cases
This garment is essential equipment for those operating in construction, logistics, and roadside maintenance where high visibility is a mandatory safety requirement. Its professional look also makes it suitable for site managers and supervisors who need to transition between active work zones and client-facing environments.

Practical Advice
This sweatshirt is designed with a contemporary fit; we recommend reviewing the size guide to ensure the correct selection, particularly when layering over shirts or thermal base layers. The 4XL sizing ensures a broad range of fit options for all team members.
Caring for your product
To preserve the integrity of the polyester fibres and the performance of the reflective tape, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Regular washing at higher temperatures may prematurely degrade the fabric's structure.
Do not use bleaching agents, as these will damage the high-visibility pigments and the reflective properties of the tape. The garment should be line dried; tumble drying should be avoided to prevent heat damage to the technical components. Similarly, do not iron this garment, as the heat can melt the reflective heat-applied tape.
Please be aware that this garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes. Exceeding this limit may reduce the effectiveness of the high-visibility elements below the required safety standards.
