Product Overview

The T500 PW3 Hi-Vis Work Jacket represents a significant step forward in functional safety apparel. Designed with a contemporary two-tone aesthetic, this jacket does not sacrifice utility for style. It is engineered to meet the demands of modern worksites, providing high visibility in low-light conditions while ensuring the wearer remains comfortable throughout a full shift. The integration of high-specification fabrics and thoughtful storage solutions makes it an essential component of a professional workwear ensemble.

Key Features
  • HiVisTex Pro Reflective Tape: This segmented tape allows for increased freedom of movement and breathability compared to traditional solid tapes, ensuring you remain visible without feeling restricted.
  • Reinforced Twin Stitched Seams: By doubling the stitching in high-stress areas, the jacket is better equipped to handle the rigours of manual labour, significantly extending the life of the garment.
  • Secure Zipped Lower Pockets: Providing ample space for tools or personal items, the zips ensure that your belongings stay where they belong, even when you are working at height or in awkward positions.
  • Dedicated Smartphone Pocket: Specifically sized to accommodate modern device dimensions, this pocket ensures your essential communication tools are always within easy reach.
  • Adjustable Hook and Loop Cuffs: These allow for a customisable fit around the wrists, preventing debris from entering the sleeves and ensuring a secure fit over work gloves.

Design & Performance

The primary fabric, Titanmill Plus, is a sturdy blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This composition offers the breathability and comfort of cotton alongside the resilience and colour-fastness of polyester. To further enhance durability, the jacket features a contrast fabric made from 100% polyester 600D. This heavy-duty material is strategically placed in areas prone to abrasion, ensuring the jacket maintains its structural integrity over time.

Despite its substantial feel, the jacket is designed for performance. The segmented reflective trim does not just improve safety; it enhances the garment's flexibility, moving with the body rather than resisting it. This makes it an excellent choice for those whose work requires a full range of motion.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The PW3 Hi-Vis Work Jacket is an ideal canvas for corporate branding. For a professional appearance that conveys authority and longevity, we recommend embroidery. Our in-house team uses high-quality threads that stand up well to frequent washing, making it perfect for company logos or staff names.

Alternatively, if your branding requires large, vibrant graphics that need to stand out from a distance, print is a highly effective option. At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting our customisation processes since 1976. Every garment is handled by our expert team in Telford, ensuring that your branding is applied with precision and care to maintain the jacket's safety standards and professional look.

Use Cases

This jacket is specifically designed for professionals in sectors such as construction, roadworks, and logistics. Its high-visibility orange and black contrast makes it suitable for environments where being seen is a safety requirement, yet the modern design is smart enough for site managers and supervisors who need to maintain a professional image when meeting clients.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has nearly five decades of experience in the industry. Since 1976, we have been providing businesses across the UK with dependable workwear from our base in Telford. We understand that your workwear is more than just a uniform; it is a tool for the job and a reflection of your business standards.

Practical Advice

To ensure maximum comfort, we recommend wearing this jacket over a moisture-wicking base layer. The generous fit allows for layering during colder months without becoming overly bulky. When selecting your size, consider the clothing you intend to wear underneath to ensure you maintain full mobility on the job.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the reflective properties and fabric strength of your jacket is vital for its continued performance. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using harsh cycles can degrade the reflective tape and weaken the polyester-cotton fibres over time.

Do not use bleach on this garment. Bleaching agents will strip the high-visibility pigment from the fabric and damage the reflective elements, rendering the jacket unsafe for use. For the same reason, the jacket should not be tumble dried; instead, it should be drip-lined dried to preserve its shape and prevent heat damage.

Ironing is not recommended, as direct heat can melt the synthetic components of the fabric and the reflective tape. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided to prevent chemical damage. Please note that this jacket is rated for a maximum of 50 washes; beyond this point, the high-visibility and reflective properties may fall below safety standards and the garment should be replaced.
