Product Overview

The Portwest PW3 Hi-Vis Women's Softshell is a thoughtfully engineered garment designed for the professional woman who requires high visibility without compromising on fit or comfort. Unlike unisex alternatives that often lack shape, this jacket is tailored specifically for the female form. Constructed from a substantial three-layer softshell fabric, it offers a sophisticated balance of wind protection and breathability, ensuring you remain focused on the task at hand rather than the weather.

Key Features
  • High-Visibility Performance: Available in fluorescent Orange and Yellow with contrasting black panels, this jacket ensures you remain visible in low-light environments, which is essential for site safety.
  • Three-Layer Construction: The triple-layered fabric provides a resilient barrier against the elements while allowing moisture to escape, keeping you dry and comfortable throughout the working day.
  • Tailored Women's Fit: Specifically designed to accommodate the female silhouette, providing better mobility and a professional appearance compared to oversized unisex options.
  • Contrast Panels: The black sections are strategically placed in areas prone to dirt, helping the garment maintain a cleaner look for longer between washes.

Design & Performance

This softshell is crafted from a durable polyester blend, chosen for its ability to withstand the rigours of a busy workplace. The fabric is substantial and sturdy, providing a reassuring sense of protection against the wind and light rain. Despite its robust nature, the material retains enough flexibility to allow for a full range of movement, which is vital when navigating a site or handling equipment.

The black contrast panels serve a dual purpose: they provide a modern, stylish aesthetic and practical camouflage for the inevitable grease and grime of a workday. This ensures that your professional image remains intact from the start of your shift to the finish.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation.

Embroidery is an excellent choice for displaying company logos and staff names, delivering a textured, premium appearance that is exceptionally durable. It is designed to stand up to repeated washing and heavy wear without fading or losing its professional finish.

For those requiring larger, more vibrant designs, printing is a highly effective option. It is better suited to bold graphics and a broader colour range, ensuring your branding is seen clearly from a distance.

Our experienced in-house team, based in Telford, has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring that every garment leaving our facility meets our exacting standards.

Use Cases

This jacket is an essential choice for female professionals working in construction, logistics, transport, and civil engineering. It is equally suited for site managers who need to transition between an office environment and active work zones while maintaining a superior professional appearance.

Why MyWorkwear

We have been providing high-quality workwear solutions since 1976. Based in Telford, our team combines decades of heritage with modern expertise to ensure your team is safe and well-presented. We understand that workwear isn't just a uniform; it's a tool of the trade, and we treat it with the respect it deserves.

Practical Advice

Available in sizes ranging from XS to XXL, we recommend checking our size guide to ensure the best possible fit. Because of its substantial fabric, this softshell works perfectly as a standalone outer layer in transitional weather or can be easily layered over a polo shirt or sweatshirt for added warmth during the winter months.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility properties and technical performance of this softshell, it is vital to follow the care instructions found on the internal label. Proper care ensures the reflective elements remain effective and the fabric continues to provide protection against the elements.

Avoid using biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can break down the technical membranes of the softshell and reduce its water-resistant capabilities. When washing, ensure all zips are closed to prevent any mechanical damage to the fabric or the customisation.
