Product Overview
The PW2 Hi-Vis Softshell (2L) is a sophisticated choice for professionals who require high-visibility protection without compromising on modern style. This garment is distinguished by its contemporary contrast chest panel and a streamlined silhouette. Constructed from a high-quality 2-layer fabric, it is engineered to be breathable, water-resistant, and windproof. This makes it an essential garment for a wide range of working environments where visibility and protection from the elements are paramount.
Key Features
- Texpel Splash Eco Finish: This PFAS-free water-resistant treatment ensures that water beads away from the surface, keeping you dry in inclement weather while supporting more environmentally conscious manufacturing.
- Non-Magnetic Construction: Being nickel and ferrous free with no exposed metal parts, this anti-scratch design is ideal for workers in the automotive or electronics industries where protecting sensitive surfaces is a priority.
- Optimised Storage Solutions: Featuring five pockets, including a dedicated phone pocket and an internal storage area, this jacket allows you to keep your essential equipment secure and organised throughout the day.
- Certified Safety Standards: This jacket is certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 3 and maintains this high standard of visibility even after 50 washes, providing long-term value and safety.
- Integrated Radio Loop: A dedicated loop allows for the easy clipping of a radio, ensuring clear communication is always within reach on busy sites.
Design & Performance
The PW275 is designed for performance in demanding conditions. The 2-layer softshell fabric provides a robust outer barrier against wind and rain, while the internal structure allows for breathability to prevent overheating during physical exertion. The fabric is also 40+ UPF rated, which means it blocks 98% of harmful UV rays, offering significant protection for those working outdoors for extended periods. The substantial weight of the garment reflects its durability, yet the design remains flexible enough to allow for a full range of movement on the job.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This softshell is particularly well-suited for professional customisation. For a premium, long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names. The stable 2-layer fabric provides an excellent foundation for high-density stitching, ensuring your brand looks sharp and professional. For larger back designs or bold promotional graphics, our high-quality printing process is an excellent alternative. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford, ensuring that the integrity of the high-visibility elements is maintained while elevating your corporate identity.
Use Cases
This jacket is a versatile solution for site managers, construction professionals, and logistics personnel. The orange version is specifically compliant with RIS 3279-TOM, making it suitable for use within the UK rail industry. Its anti-scratch properties also make it the preferred choice for those working in precision engineering or assembly environments.

Practical Advice
This softshell is designed with a contemporary fit, so we recommend reviewing your sizing requirements if you intend to wear it over multiple layers, such as a thick sweatshirt. For those working in the rail industry, the orange colourway is the required standard to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the cleanliness of your hi-vis softshell is vital for ensuring the reflective tape and fluorescent fabric function correctly. If the garment becomes heavily soiled, its visibility properties will be diminished, which could compromise your safety on-site.
When washing, avoid using any bleaching agents. Bleach will damage the fluorescent dyes and the technical Texpel finish, leading to a loss of both visibility and water resistance. We recommend air drying rather than using a tumble dryer, as high heat can degrade the internal breathable membrane and the reflective heat-applied tape. Should you need to iron the garment, do so on a low setting and avoid direct contact with any reflective elements to prevent melting or peeling.
