Design & Performance
The Oregon Softshell is engineered from a substantial bonded fabric, combining a 94% polyester and 6% elastane outer layer with a 100% polyester microfleece internal finish. This multi-layer approach ensures that the garment is both wind-resistant and insulating without the excessive bulk of traditional heavy outerwear. The elastane content provides a four-way stretch, allowing the wearer to move freely without the fabric pulling or restricting movement during physical tasks.
The interior fleece lining is designed to trap heat effectively against the body, making it an excellent choice for outdoor work in cooler temperatures. Despite its protective qualities, the technical membrane allows for a degree of moisture vapour transfer, which helps to prevent overheating when the intensity of work increases.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This softshell is particularly well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align the garment with your corporate identity. Embroidery is the preferred choice for a professional and enduring finish, especially for company logos and staff names on the chest. The sturdy nature of the bonded fabric provides a stable foundation for high-density stitching, ensuring your branding remains crisp and professional.
For larger, high-impact branding on the back of the jacket, our print services offer a sharp and vibrant finish. Since 1976, our in-house team in Telford has been refining these processes, ensuring that every garment meets our rigorous quality standards before it reaches your site.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for site managers, surveyors, and tradespeople who require a smart, professional appearance while remaining protected from the elements. Its clean lines and black colourway make it equally appropriate for customer-facing roles and active outdoor work, providing a versatile solution for a diverse workforce.

Practical Advice
The Oregon Softshell is designed with a regular fit that allows for easy layering. For optimum thermal performance, we recommend wearing it over a moisture-wicking polo shirt or a lightweight sweatshirt. This combination allows the softshell's technical membrane to perform efficiently while providing additional warmth.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the performance of a technical softshell requires adherence to specific care protocols. To preserve the integrity of the fabric and ensure your custom branding remains in peak condition, you should wash this garment at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a normal process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the bonding between the fabric layers and degrade the adhesive used in printed logos.
Do not use bleach on this garment, as the harsh chemicals will strip the fabric of its colour and compromise the technical fibres. Similarly, this jacket must not be tumble dried; heat from a dryer can cause the elastane to lose its shape and may lead to shrinkage.
Ironing is strictly prohibited, as direct heat can melt the synthetic fibres and damage the waterproof membrane. For the same reasons, do not dry clean this item. Following these instructions ensures the jacket retains its shape and protective qualities for its intended lifespan.
