Product Overview
The KX3 Bomber Jacket is a well-engineered solution for professionals who require a combination of modern styling and uncompromising weather protection. As part of the All Weather Protection range, this jacket is designed to withstand the rigours of tough outdoor environments while maintaining a sharp, contemporary silhouette. Its shorter length is a deliberate design choice, allowing the garment to sit comfortably on the hips to facilitate ease of movement during active tasks without compromising on warmth.
Key Features
- Waterproof TPU Coating: The shell fabric is treated with a technical TPU coating, ensuring you remain dry even in persistent rain.
- Heat-Retaining Knitted Cuffs and Hem: These elements work together to trap warm air against the body, providing an effective thermal barrier in cold conditions.
- Contemporary Bomber Design: The shorter cut provides a non-restrictive fit, making it ideal for those who are frequently getting in and out of vehicles or climbing ladders.
- Taffeta Lining: The internal 190T polyester taffeta lining allows the jacket to glide easily over mid-layers, preventing the bunching or restriction often found with lower-quality garments.
Design & Performance
The performance of the KX3 Bomber Jacket is rooted in its material composition. The shell is constructed from a medium-weight 100% polyester fabric, which has been enhanced with a TPU coating to provide a formidable shield against moisture. It carries an EN 343 Class 3:2 certification, indicating high-level waterproofness and functional breathability. This ensures that while rain is kept out, internal moisture vapour can escape, reducing the clammy feeling often associated with waterproof workwear.
Durability is at the forefront of the KX3 range. The rugged construction ensures the jacket can handle the abrasions of a busy site, while the black colourway offers a professional appearance that effectively hides the inevitable dust and grime of a day's work. The knitted hem not only keeps the wind out but also ensures the jacket maintains its shape through repeated wear.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This bomber jacket is an excellent canvas for corporate branding. For a professional appearance, we recommend embroidery on the chest or arms. This method provides a high-quality, long-lasting finish for company logos and individual names, standing up well to the elements. For larger, more vibrant graphics across the back, our print services offer a sharp and impactful result.
At MyWorkwear, our in-house customisation team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976. Whether you require subtle branding or high-visibility logos, our experts ensure your workwear reinforces your company's professional image.
Use Cases
The KX3 Bomber Jacket is perfectly suited for tradespeople who require agility alongside weather protection. It is a staple choice for site managers, delivery drivers, and maintenance engineers who need to look professional while remaining protected from the British weather. Its unobtrusive fit makes it a practical choice for anyone working in tight spaces or operating machinery.

Practical Advice
Due to the bomber style, this jacket is designed for a closer fit at the waist. If you intend to wear substantial layers, such as a heavy fleece, underneath, you may wish to consider how the knitted hem will sit over your trousers. The Taffeta lining makes it exceptionally easy to pull on over sweatshirts or polo shirts.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical integrity of the waterproof coating, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures can damage the TPU coating, which would compromise the jacket's ability to keep you dry.
Under no circumstances should bleach be used on this garment, as it will break down the polyester fibres and degrade the fabric's strength. Similarly, the jacket should not be ironed, as direct heat will melt the synthetic materials and the internal waterproof barrier.
For the best results, the jacket should be drip-lined dried. Tumble drying is not recommended, as the mechanical action and heat can cause the knitted cuffs to lose elasticity and may damage the waterproof seams. Do not dry clean this item, as the chemicals used in the process are too harsh for the TPU-coated shell.
