Avoid exposing the knee pads to extreme heat sources, such as direct contact with radiators, as high temperatures can cause the polyurethane to warp or lose its cushioning properties. Always allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature if they become wet.
Do not attempt to machine wash or tumble dry these pads. The mechanical action of a washing machine and the high heat of a dryer can break down the cellular structure of the foam, leading to a loss of protective density and rendering the pads less effective at absorbing impact.
