Product Overview

The Hi-Vis Women's Winter Jacket is a professionally engineered garment designed to provide superior warmth and visibility without the bulk often associated with traditional safety outerwear. It features a contemporary silhouette tailored specifically for women, ensuring a comfortable fit that allows for full range of movement on site. The combination of a substantial outer shell and a quilted lining makes this an essential choice for those working in demanding winter conditions.

Key Features
  • Quilted lining provides exceptional thermal insulation, keeping the wearer warm during long shifts in cold environments.
  • The detachable hood offers versatile protection, allowing the jacket to be adapted based on changing weather conditions or specific safety requirements.
  • Angled reflective tape is strategically placed to create a modern, streamlined appearance while ensuring maximum visibility and safety in low-light areas.
  • A curved back hem provides additional coverage when bending or reaching, protecting against cold draughts.
  • Adjustable cuffs allow for a secure fit around the wrists, preventing heat loss and ensuring compatibility with work gloves.

Design & Performance

The jacket is constructed from a heavy-duty Oxford weave polyester fabric, known for its exceptional resistance to abrasions and tears. This durability is enhanced by a double PU coating, which provides a robust barrier against water penetration, ensuring the wearer stays dry in inclement weather. To maintain a professional appearance, the fabric is treated with a stain-resistant finish that helps repel oil and dirt, a practical feature for busy work environments.

Internal comfort is managed by a smooth polyester lining and filling, which trap heat effectively while remaining lightweight enough to prevent fatigue. The design prioritises both functionality and form, resulting in a high-performance jacket that withstands the rigours of daily professional use.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jacket is an excellent canvas for your corporate branding. Embroidery is highly recommended for a traditional, professional appearance, particularly for company logos or staff names on the chest. The depth of the Oxford fabric supports high-quality stitch work beautifully.

For larger, more vibrant designs on the back of the jacket, our high-quality print service is an ideal alternative. All customisation is performed in-house at our Telford facility by a team with expertise dating back to 1976. This ensures that your branding is applied with precision and will endure the same tough conditions as the garment itself.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideally suited for women working in construction, logistics, roadworks, or any outdoor role where high visibility and thermal protection are mandatory. Its modern fit also makes it a popular choice for site managers and supervisors who require a garment that is both functional and smart.

Practical Advice

This jacket is designed with a contemporary fit, but we recommend considering the thickness of your base layers or mid-layers when selecting a size. If you intend to wear a thick sweatshirt or fleece underneath, you may find a slightly larger size provides better comfort and mobility.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility performance and waterproof integrity of this jacket, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the PU coating and the reflective properties of the tape.

Bleaching must be avoided at all costs, as it will degrade the fluorescent orange pigment and significantly reduce the jacket's safety rating. To preserve the shape and fabric structure, do not tumble dry or iron the garment; instead, it should be drip line dried.

This jacket is rated for a maximum of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the reflective and fluorescent qualities may diminish, and the garment should be inspected to ensure it still meets the required safety standards for your workplace.
