Product Overview
The Hi-Vis Contrast Mesh Insert T-Shirt is a well-engineered garment designed for professionals who require high visibility without sacrificing comfort during intense activity or high temperatures. This short-sleeved t-shirt utilizes a sophisticated two-tone design in Orange and Navy, combining a cotton-rich shell with specialized mesh panels to ensure the wearer remains cool and focused on the task at hand.
Key Features
The fabric blend of cotton and polyester provides the natural, breathable feel of cotton against the skin with the moisture-wicking properties of polyester, ensuring you stay dry throughout the workday.
Integrated mesh inserts allow for significantly increased airflow in high-heat areas, preventing the build-up of perspiration and maintaining a regulated body temperature.
The navy contrast panel is strategically placed at the base of the garment to help hide soil and dirt, maintaining a professional appearance for longer between washes.
The high-visibility orange upper section ensures you meet safety requirements for enhanced visibility in busy or hazardous work environments.
Design & Performance
This t-shirt is constructed from a lightweight knit fabric composed of 55% cotton and 45% polyester. This specific ratio is chosen for its performance; the cotton provides a soft, non-irritating interior while the polyester ensures the garment retains its shape and withstands the rigours of daily wear. The addition of 100% polyester mesh panels takes the performance a step further by facilitating active ventilation, which is essential for those working in hot conditions or confined spaces. The design prioritises airflow without compromising the garment's durability.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is suitable for both print and embroidery, allowing you to tailor it to your specific branding requirements. For a traditional, professional appearance that withstands frequent laundering, embroidery is an excellent choice for company logos or staff names. If your design is particularly large or intricate, our high-quality printing process ensures bold visibility across the chest or back.
Our expert team in Telford has been refining workwear customisation since 1976, ensuring that every logo is applied with precision so your team reflects the quality of your business.
Use Cases
This hi-vis t-shirt is ideal for roadworkers, construction crews, and warehouse staff who need to stay visible while performing physically demanding tasks. The ventilating mesh makes it particularly suitable for summer outdoor work or high-temperature indoor environments like logistics hubs where natural airflow might be limited.

Practical Advice
As this is a lightweight, breathable garment designed for cooling, it performs best when worn as a base layer in cooler weather or as a standalone top in the heat. For a professional fit, consider the navy contrast panels which help maintain a clean look even after a full shift on-site.
Caring for your product
To ensure this garment maintains its safety standards and structural integrity, it is vital to follow the specific care instructions. A domestic wash should be limited to a maximum temperature of 40°C on a mild process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the synthetic fibres and reduce the effectiveness of the high-visibility pigment.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the fabric and significantly dull the high-visibility orange. The t-shirt should not be tumble dried; instead, we recommend drip line drying. This prevents shrinkage and ensures the garment retains its shape over time.
Ironing should be avoided entirely to prevent melting the mesh inserts or damaging the reflective properties of the fabric. Similarly, dry cleaning is not recommended as the chemical solvents used can be too abrasive for the material.
Please note that this garment has a maximum limit of 50 washes. Beyond this point, the high-visibility properties may no longer meet the required safety standards, and the garment should be replaced to ensure your continued protection.
