Practical Advice
When fitting the gaiters, ensure they are positioned over the top of your work trousers and secured firmly enough to prevent them from slipping down during movement, but not so tight as to restrict circulation. For those working in particularly muddy environments, the contrast black panel should be positioned to take the brunt of the splashes to preserve the clarity of the yellow high-visibility sections.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and structural integrity of your gaiters, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using harsh cycles may degrade the reflective tape and reduce the garment's effectiveness over time.
You must not bleach this garment. Bleaching agents will cause immediate and irreparable damage to the fluorescent pigments in the fabric and the reflective properties of the tape, rendered them unsafe for site use. After washing, the gaiters should be line dried. Do not tumble dry, as the high heat of a dryer can cause the hook and loop fasteners to warp and the reflective bands to crack.
Avoid ironing this product entirely. The synthetic polyester mesh and reflective elements are sensitive to direct heat and may melt or lose their reflective qualities if an iron is applied. Finally, do not dry clean. The chemicals used in the dry cleaning process are too aggressive for this type of technical safety wear. Please note that this garment has a maximum service life of 25 washes to ensure it remains within safety compliance standards.
