We recommend a mild process wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the polyester fibres and degrade the reflective properties of the hi-vis tape. Please note that the garment should not be washed more than 50 times, as the visibility certification may no longer be valid after this point due to cumulative wear.
Avoid using bleach or dry cleaning services, as these harsh chemicals will strip the stain-resistant finish and the waterproof coating. The bodywarmer should not be tumble dried; instead, we advise drip line drying. High heat from a tumble dryer or iron can melt the synthetic materials and the PU coating, rendering the garment ineffective at protecting you from the elements.
