Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of the breathable membrane and high-visibility properties, follow the care instructions diligently. Maintaining the fabric's integrity ensures the garment continues to provide the protection you rely on.
Wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures or harsh mechanical cycles can degrade the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the water-resistant finish over time.
Avoid the use of bleach, as this will damage the polyester fibres and dull the fluorescent pigments required for safety compliance. This can significantly reduce the visibility and safety rating of the jacket.
This garment should not be tumble dried; instead, use drip line drying. Excessive heat from a dryer can cause the waterproof backing to peel or crack, rendering the jacket no longer waterproof.
Do not iron the jacket, as direct heat will melt the synthetic fabric and damage the reflective tape, which is critical for low-light safety. Similarly, do not dry clean this garment.
Finally, replace the garment after a maximum of 50 washes, as the reflective and high-visibility properties will naturally begin to diminish below safety standards after this point.
