Product Overview

The Height Endurance Vented Helmet is a specialized piece of head protection engineered specifically for those working at elevation. By removing the traditional peak, this helmet provides an entirely unrestricted upward field of vision, which is a critical safety requirement for arborists, scaffolders, and construction professionals. This specific version features a vented shell, allowing for continuous airflow during physically demanding tasks or in warmer environments, without sacrificing the structural integrity required for site safety.

Key Features

  • Vented ABS Shell: The high-impact ABS construction provides robust protection against falling objects, while integrated vents ensure optimal thermal comfort for the wearer.
  • Peak-less Design: Eliminating the peak allows for better visibility when looking upwards, reducing neck strain and increasing spatial awareness on-site.
  • 6-Point Textile Suspension Harness: This internal system distributes the force of any impact evenly across the head, providing superior shock absorption compared to standard plastic alternatives.
  • Wheel Ratchet Adjustment: A smooth adjustment mechanism allows the wearer to achieve a precise and secure fit (ranging from 52cm to 63cm) with one hand, even while wearing gloves.
  • 4-Point Y-Style Chin Strap: The included chin strap features a soft rubber protector and ensures the helmet remains securely in place during sudden movements or falls.
  • Technical Sweatband: Integrated to manage moisture and prevent perspiration from interfering with the wearer's vision.

Design & Performance

This helmet is designed to be lightweight and compact, minimizing the physical burden of wearing head protection for long shifts. The ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) material is selected for its exceptional toughness and heat resistance, making it suitable for rigorous industrial use. Inside, the 6-point textile harness sits comfortably against the head, providing a stable foundation that does not shift during active work. The orange finish ensures high visibility on busy sites, while the vented design addresses the common issue of heat build-up within safety helmets.

Why No Customisation?

As a critical piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we do not offer customisation services such as printing or embroidery on this helmet. Modifying the shell with adhesives, heat, or mechanical processes can compromise the structural integrity of the ABS material and potentially invalidate the safety certification. Our priority is ensuring that this equipment performs exactly as intended in the event of an impact.

Use Cases

This helmet is specifically designed for trade professionals working at heights, including tree surgeons, electricians, and construction workers. It is equally suited for mechanics or plumbers working in confined spaces where a traditional helmet peak might obstruct their view or movement. Its compact nature makes it an excellent choice for any environment where both protection and maximum visibility are paramount.

Practical Advice

To ensure the highest level of protection, always use the wheel ratchet to tighten the helmet until it is snug but comfortable; it should not move when you tilt your head. For those working in particularly windy or exposed conditions, ensuring the 4-point chin strap is properly adjusted with the rubber protector centered will prevent the helmet from being dislodged.

Caring for your product

To maintain the safety performance of your helmet, it is essential to inspect the shell and harness daily. Any signs of deep scratches, cracks, or discoloration should result in the helmet being replaced immediately, as these indicate a compromise in the material's strength.

Clean the ABS shell using only mild soap and warm water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the plastic on a molecular level, making it brittle and prone to failure under impact.

The technical sweatband and textile harness should be cleaned regularly to prevent the build-up of oils and salts from perspiration, which can eventually degrade the fabric components. Allow the helmet to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources or prolonged sunlight, as UV exposure can weaken the shell over time.
