Product Overview

The Grip 13 PU Touchscreen Glove is a specialized solution for the modern industrial environment where digital interaction is as frequent as manual labour. Designed with a focus on dexterity and technological compatibility, these gloves allow the wearer to operate touchscreen devices—be they tablets on the assembly line or smartphones in the field—without the need to compromise safety by removing their hand protection.

This lightweight glove is specifically engineered for intricate tasks that require a high degree of tactile sensitivity. Whether you are involved in electronics assembly, testing procedures, or general precision work, the A195 provides a seamless interface between the human hand and the components or screens being handled.

Key Features

  • Touchscreen Compatibility: Specifically designed to interact with capacitive screens, ensuring that your workflow remains uninterrupted while your hands remain protected.

  • 100% Breathable Seamless Liner: The construction utilizes a breathable material that prevents the buildup of heat and moisture, which is essential for maintaining comfort during extended shifts.

  • Precision-Centric Design: Ideal for intricate tasks where bulky gloves would be a hindrance, allowing for a level of feel that is crucial in electronics and testing environments.

Design & Performance

The A195 is constructed from a blend of polyester and elastic, creating a lightweight and flexible fit that contours closely to the hand. This close fit is vital for precision work, providing the user with the feedback necessary for handling small components. The seamless liner eliminates internal pressure points and potential irritation sites, which is a common issue with lower-quality hand protection.

In terms of performance, the breathable nature of the fabric ensures that despite being a close-fitting glove, the hand remains cool and dry. The design focuses on the dexterity required for technical roles, ensuring that the glove acts as a functional extension of the hand rather than a barrier to productivity.

Why No Customisation?

We do not offer customisation, such as print or embroidery, on the Grip 13 PU Touchscreen Glove. As a piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) designed for precision and tactile sensitivity, any secondary processing could interfere with the glove's fit, flexibility, or the specific conductive properties required for touchscreen use. To ensure the safety standards and functional integrity of the glove remain intact, we supply these in their original, tested form.

Use Cases

These gloves are highly recommended for professionals working in electronics assembly, where precision is a daily concern. They are equally well-suited for laboratory testing, precision engineering, and any logistics role where a handheld scanner or tablet is frequently used alongside manual handling tasks.

Practical Advice

To get the most out of the touchscreen functionality, ensure you select a size that fits snugly against your fingertips. If the glove is too large, the lack of contact between your finger and the glove's tip can lead to reduced accuracy on digital screens. For those working in intricate electronics, maintaining a clean surface on the glove will also ensure better screen responsiveness.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and longevity of your touchscreen gloves, it is important to keep them free from heavy oil and grease, which can coat the conductive fibres and reduce screen responsiveness over time. Regular inspection for wear and tear at the fingertips is recommended, as thinning material may eventually affect both protection and digital accuracy.

Should the gloves require cleaning, ensure they are handled gently to avoid stretching the elasticated components. Maintaining the cleanliness of the glove surface not only extends the life of the fabric but also prevents the transfer of debris onto the sensitive electronic screens you are operating. Avoid high-heat drying methods as these can damage the elastic and polyester fibres, causing the glove to lose its essential close fit.
