Why No Customisation?
As this lanyard is a critical item of fall protection Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we do not offer customisation services such as printing or embroidery. Any modification to the webbing—whether through the heat of a print press or the needle penetrations of embroidery—could compromise the structural integrity of the fibres or interfere with the deployment of the shock absorber. Practical Advice
It is essential to perform a pre-use inspection of the lanyard before every shift. Look for signs of fraying, cuts, or chemical staining on the polyester webbing and ensure that the gate mechanisms on the hooks and carabiner operate smoothly. Always ensure your fall clearance calculation includes the length of the lanyard and the potential extension of the shock absorber to prevent contact with the ground or lower obstacles.
Caring for your product
To ensure the continued performance of your safety lanyard, it must be kept clean and stored correctly. If the webbing becomes dirty, it should be wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Never use harsh chemical cleaners or bleach, as these can weaken the synthetic polyester fibres and compromise the safety of the device.
Always allow the lanyard to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated space, away from direct heat sources or sunlight which can cause UV degradation. When not in use, store it in a cool, dry place to prevent the metal components from corroding and the webbing from developing mould. Under no circumstances should the webbing be ironed, as the heat will damage the synthetic structure and render the lanyard unsafe for use.
