Product Overview
The Cotton Mesh Air Pro T-Shirt is a technically proficient garment designed to meet the rigorous demands of the modern kitchen and catering environment. Recognising that culinary professionals operate in high-temperature settings, this t-shirt prioritises temperature regulation without compromising on a sharp, professional aesthetic. By combining the natural properties of premium cotton with advanced mesh technology, it provides a reliable solution for those who require comfort during long, demanding shifts.
Key Features
- 100% Ring Spun Cotton: The use of ring spun yarn ensures a softer, smoother finish and superior durability compared to standard cotton, providing comfort that lasts.
- MeshAir Pro Back Panel: This 100% polyester mesh insert is strategically placed to facilitate maximum airflow, allowing heat to escape and keeping the wearer cool in hot kitchen environments.
- Modern Styling: Designed with a contemporary silhouette, this t-shirt offers a professional look that moves away from traditional, boxy catering wear.
- Short Sleeve Construction: Optimised for ease of movement and additional ventilation, making it an ideal choice for active roles in food preparation.
Design & Performance
The C195 is constructed from a medium-weight ring spun cotton fabric, which offers a substantial feel while remaining breathable. The ring spinning process produces a stronger and more refined yarn, which results in a garment that can withstand the frequent laundering required in the food industry. The performance is further enhanced by the MeshAir Pro panel; this specialised polyester mesh is engineered to improve moisture management and breathability where it is needed most, ensuring the wearer remains focused on the task at hand rather than their attire.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The smooth, high-quality surface of the ring spun cotton makes this t-shirt an excellent canvas for customisation. For a refined and durable finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos or individual names, providing a "proper" professional appearance that stands up well to industrial use. If your branding requires large, high-impact graphics, our printing services offer a bold alternative. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on our heritage and technical expertise established since 1976.
Use Cases
This garment is specifically tailored for chefs, bakers, butchers, and general catering staff. It is equally suitable as a base layer beneath a chef jacket or as a standalone top for front-of-house and back-of-house staff in hospitality and food production settings.

Practical Advice
Given the modern styling of this t-shirt, it provides a more tailored fit than standard catering garments. For those who prefer a looser fit for more strenuous physical tasks, we recommend reviewing our size guide to ensure the best possible match for your team. It layers exceptionally well under protective aprons or chef whites without adding unnecessary bulk.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity of the ring spun cotton and the functionality of the mesh panel, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures may cause the natural cotton fibers to degrade or shrink over time.
The use of bleach must be avoided, as it will weaken the fabric and damage the colour and any custom embroidery or print. To preserve the shape and finish of the garment, it should be line dried in the shade; tumble drying is not recommended as the high heat can lead to shrinkage and potential damage to the mesh sections.
If ironing is required, use a maximum temperature of 150°C to keep the garment looking crisp. Please ensure that you do not iron directly over any printed customisation, as this will damage the design. Note that this garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, as the chemicals used can interfere with the fabric's performance features.
