Practical Advice
To achieve the best results, ensure the vest is activated correctly before your work day begins. This garment is designed with a regular fit; however, as it may be worn over other clothing, you should ensure the L/XL sizing provides sufficient room for comfortable movement. Layering this over moisture-wicking base layers will further enhance the cooling effect and overall comfort.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the performance of the super absorbent fibres is essential for the longevity of this garment. Regular care according to instructions will ensure the cooling properties remain effective for as long as possible.
This vest must be hand washed only. The mechanical action of a washing machine can damage the delicate internal absorbent filling and the bird eye knit structure, leading to a loss of cooling performance.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and cause discolouration. Similarly, do not dry clean the garment, as chemical solvents can impair the moisture-holding capacity of the technical filling.
The vest should be drip line dried only. Subjecting the garment to the high heat of a tumble dryer can cause the synthetic components to shrink or melt. For the same reason, do not iron the garment, as direct heat will damage the fabric integrity.
Please note that the technical cooling functionality is rated for a maximum of 20 washes. Beyond this point, the effectiveness of the absorbent fibres may begin to diminish, and replacement should be considered to ensure continued protection against heat.
