Product Overview

The CV25SGR Cooling Cap is a technically engineered piece of headwear designed to mitigate the risks associated with heat stress in demanding work environments. Finished in a professional Slate Grey, this cap provides immediate and sustained relief for individuals operating in high-temperature conditions. As part of our specialized Cooling Protection range, it serves as a functional tool for maintaining workforce safety and comfort when temperatures rise.

Key Features

  • Advanced Wicking Technology: The shell and lining are constructed from 100% wicking polyester, which effectively moves moisture away from the skin to keep the wearer dry.
  • High-Performance Absorption: Integrated super absorbent fibres within the cap's structure hold moisture to facilitate an evaporative cooling effect, providing essential temperature regulation.
  • Lightweight Construction: The use of lightweight technical fabrics ensures that the cap remains comfortable for extended periods without causing unnecessary fatigue.
  • User-Friendly Design: Simple to activate and easy to wear, making it a practical addition to any summer workwear uniform.

Design & Performance

The performance of the CV25SGR relies on its sophisticated material composition. The exterior is crafted from a breathable wicking polyester that allows for maximum airflow. Inside, the filling consists of super absorbent fibres which, when dampened, create a cooling reservoir. This moisture is slowly released through evaporation, a process that draws heat away from the head and provides a significant cooling sensation. Despite its cooling capabilities, the fabric remains remarkably lightweight, ensuring it does not feel cumbersome even when fully hydrated.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This cooling cap is an ideal canvas for professional branding. For a sophisticated and durable finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names. Embroidery offers a permanent, high-quality appearance that withstands the rigours of daily work. Alternatively, our precision printing services are perfectly suited for larger, more vibrant designs that require high visibility from a distance.

All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford. With a heritage stretching back to 1976, MyWorkwear ensures that your branding is applied with technical precision, maintaining the integrity of the garment's cooling properties while enhancing your professional image.

Use Cases

This cap is particularly beneficial for tradespeople working on outdoor construction sites, maintenance crews, and landscaping professionals exposed to direct sunlight. It is equally effective for staff in industrial settings, such as hot warehouses or manufacturing plants, where heat stress is a persistent concern. Its professional Slate Grey colour makes it a versatile choice for a wide variety of industries.

Why MyWorkwear

Established in 1976, MyWorkwear has decades of experience in providing technical clothing solutions to British businesses. Operating from our base in Telford, we pride ourselves on our authoritative knowledge of fabric performance and customisation. We don't just supply garments; we provide well-engineered equipment designed to support your team in the toughest environments.

Practical Advice

To activate the cooling properties, simply soak the cap in water and gently squeeze out the excess. For those working in particularly intense heat, we recommend re-hydrating the cap during breaks to maintain the evaporative effect. The lightweight nature of the fabric means it can be comfortably worn beneath other safety equipment if required.

Caring for your product

To ensure the cooling fibres and wicking fabrics continue to perform effectively, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High-temperature washing can degrade the absorbent fibres and reduce the cap's cooling lifespan.

You must not bleach this garment. Harsh chemical bleaches will break down the polyester structure and compromise the moisture-management capabilities. Similarly, the cap should be line dried rather than placed in a tumble dryer. Tumble drying can cause shrinkage and may damage the internal absorbent filling.

Ironing is not suitable for this product, as the heat from an iron will melt the technical polyester and damage the internal fibres. Finally, do not dry clean the cap; the chemicals used in dry cleaning are too aggressive for the specialised materials and could ruin the custom branding and the cooling functionality.
