Product Overview
The Sparkle S3 HRO CI HI SRC is a substantial safety boot engineered for professionals who demand uncompromising protection in hazardous environments. Part of our Special collection, these boots are built to a high specification to meet UNI EN ISO 20345:2012 S3 standards. Finished in a professional black and red, they provide a robust solution for those working in conditions involving extreme temperatures, sharp objects, and heavy impact risks.
Key Features
- SlimCap Safety Toe: The integrated 200-joule resistant toe-cap provides essential protection against impact and compression, offering a more streamlined profile than traditional steel caps without sacrificing safety.
- SmellStop Antibacterial Lining: An internal lining treated to prevent odour and bacterial growth, ensuring the interior remains hygienic and comfortable throughout long working days.
- Fresh’n Flex Midsole: A high-performance puncture-resistant midsole that prevents sharp objects from penetrating the sole, protecting the wearer from underfoot hazards.
- Triple-Thermal Resistance: Rated for HRO (heat resistance), CI (cold insulation), and HI (heat insulation), these boots provide a stable internal environment regardless of the external temperature.
- Shock Absorbing Heel: Advanced shock absorption in the heel region reduces the strain on joints when walking on hard surfaces, helping to prevent fatigue.
Design & Performance
The Sparkle S3 is constructed with a Double-Density Air Tech PU/HRO upper and outsole, a combination designed for extreme durability and grip. The water-resistant upper is specifically engineered to prevent water penetration, making it ideal for outdoor use in the unpredictable British weather. Performance is further enhanced by the hydrocarbon-resistant sole, which maintains its integrity and traction even when in contact with oils and chemicals.
Designed with a specific men's width, the boot prioritises wearer comfort. It also complies with European DGUV112-191 norms, meaning it is compatible with orthopaedic made-to-measure footbeds. This ensures that those who require specific podiatric support do not have to compromise on the safety features of their footwear.
Why No Customisation?
At MyWorkwear, we take your safety as seriously as our heritage. This item is technical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and is sold as-is. We do not offer customisation on safety boots because any modification, such as stitching or heat-pressing logos, could potentially compromise the structural integrity of the materials or invalidate the safety certifications. We believe it is better to have a safe foot than a branded one.
Use Cases
These boots are specifically designed for heavy industry, construction, and environments with extreme temperature requirements. The HRO rating makes them suitable for asphalt work or environments with hot surfaces up to 300°C, while the cold insulation (-17°C) and water resistance make them an excellent choice for outdoor site work during winter or for those working in cold storage facilities.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, please note that these boots are designed with a standard men's width. If you typically wear specialist thermal socks, ensure you account for the extra volume when choosing your fit. For those requiring orthopaedic support, the DGUV112-191 compatibility allows for the use of certified custom insoles without affecting the boot's safety rating.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and safety characteristics of your boots, they should be cleaned regularly. Use a damp cloth or soft brush to remove dirt and debris from the upper; leaving mud to dry on the surface can eventually lead to the cracking of the materials and a reduction in water resistance.
It is vital that these boots are allowed to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Never place them directly against a radiator or heat source. Excessive heat can cause the PU materials to become brittle and may damage the adhesive bonds, leading to premature failure of the sole or insulation layers.
We recommend storing your footwear in a cool, dry place. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use can degrade the synthetic components and the SmellStop lining. Proper storage ensures the antibacterial properties remain effective for the life of the boot.
