Product Overview
The Pulsar S1P SRC from the Smart Evo collection represents a sophisticated evolution in safety footwear. This low shoe is engineered for professionals who require robust protection without the cumbersome feel of traditional industrial boots. Finished in a professional Black and Blue, it integrates high-level safety standards with an ergonomic design focused on the long-term health of your feet.
Key Features
- SlimCap Protection: The 200-joule resistant toe-cap provides essential protection against falling objects and compression, offering a lighter alternative to metal caps without sacrificing safety.
- Fresh’n Flex Midsole: This puncture-resistant sole ensures that sharp objects like nails or screws do not penetrate the footbed, keeping you safe on unpredictable worksites.
- Non-Magnetic Construction: Being nickel and ferrous-free, these shoes are entirely metal-detector friendly, making them ideal for high-security environments or facilities with sensitive electronic equipment.
- Heel Shock Absorption: Integrated energy absorption in the heel area reduces the impact on your joints during each step, helping to prevent fatigue during long shifts on hard surfaces.
- Hydrocarbon Resistance: The outsole is specifically designed to resist damage from oils and chemicals, ensuring your grip and the shoe's integrity remain intact in workshop environments.
Design & Performance
The Pulsar is constructed using an Antifatigue AirTech Single Density upper and outsole, a combination designed to maximise flexibility and reduce the physical strain of walking. This is a substantial, sturdy shoe that feels surprisingly agile once on the foot. To combat the common issue of odour in work footwear, the interior features a SmellStop lining. This antibacterial and anti-odour treatment ensures a more hygienic environment for your feet, even after a full day of activity.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation for the Pulsar S1P SRC as it is a certified piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Any modifications, such as embroidery or heat-pressing, could potentially compromise the structural integrity of the materials or interfere with the anti-static and non-magnetic properties. Our priority is ensuring that this footwear continues to meet the UNI EN ISO 20345:2012 safety standards as intended by the manufacturer.
Use Cases
These shoes are perfectly suited for warehouse operatives, logistics personnel, and light industrial workers who are on their feet for extended periods. Thanks to their non-magnetic properties, they are also a primary choice for airport security staff or technicians working in environments with metal detection protocols.
Why MyWorkwear

Based in Telford, our expert team understands the technical requirements of modern safety standards and only stocks products that meet our high expectations for quality and performance.
Practical Advice
The Pulsar is designed to accommodate both men’s and women’s widths, ensuring a more tailored fit for a wider range of users. For those with specific podiatric needs, these shoes are compatible with orthopaedic made-to-measure footbeds under the DGUV112-191 European norm. We recommend ensuring the laces are properly secured to allow the anti-fatigue technology to work in harmony with your natural stride.
Caring for your product
Maintaining your safety footwear is essential to ensure the longevity of its protective features and its overall performance. A well-cared-for shoe will continue to protect you long after a neglected pair has failed.
To clean the shoes, use a damp cloth and a soft brush to remove dirt. We strongly advise against machine washing, as the agitation and saturation can degrade the internal adhesives and the SmellStop lining, which rather defeats the purpose of high-quality footwear.
Do not use bleach or aggressive detergents on the AirTech materials. Such chemicals can strip away the protective coatings and weaken the fabric, leading to premature wear and a loss of hydrocarbon resistance.
If your shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated space. Avoid placing them directly on radiators or using heat guns; excessive heat can cause the soles to delaminate and the materials to crack, which is a remarkably efficient way to ruin your investment.
Finally, ironing safety shoes is strictly not recommended. The high heat of an iron would likely melt the technical components and the outsole, leaving you with a very flat, very useless piece of footwear.
