Product Overview
The I-Robox Blue Top S3 ESD SRC is a sophisticated piece of safety footwear from the Base Record collection, designed for professionals who require high-level protection without the cumbersome weight of traditional boots. These ankle shoes are engineered to meet the rigorous demands of industrial environments, offering a substantial and sturdy feel that provides confidence on the shop floor or in the warehouse. Finished in a professional Cool Grey, they combine advanced material science with a focus on long-term wearer comfort.
Key Features
The SlimCap toe cap provides 200 joules of impact resistance while remaining entirely metal-free, ensuring your toes are protected from falling objects without adding unnecessary bulk.
The SmellStop antibacterial lining helps to maintain a fresh interior environment, effectively reducing the risk of fungal growth and unpleasant odours during long shifts.
A Fresh’n Flex puncture-resistant midsole offers a critical barrier against sharp objects on the ground, protecting the sole of the foot from injury.
The Air Tech and TPU-Skin anti-fatigue sole features a cushioning effect that absorbs energy, significantly reducing strain on the legs and back for those on their feet all day.
An integrated overcap enhances abrasion resistance at the front of the shoe, extending the life of the footwear for those who frequently kneel or work in tight spaces.
Design & Performance
Constructed with a PU and TPU upper, these shoes are inherently water-resistant, making them suitable for environments where dampness or spills are a concern. The metal-free design is a deliberate choice, ensuring the shoes are lightweight and non-conductive, which is particularly beneficial in environments with security scanners or sensitive electronic equipment. The outsole is specifically designed to resist hydrocarbons, maintaining grip and integrity even when in contact with oils or fuels.
Performance is further enhanced by the ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) rating. This ensures that static build-up is safely discharged, protecting sensitive electronic components from damage. The SRC slip resistance rating indicates that the sole has been tested on both ceramic and steel surfaces, providing the highest level of grip available under current standards.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation, such as embroidery or heat transfers, on the I-Robox Blue Top. This is to ensure the technical integrity of the footwear remains uncompromised. Altering the upper material could affect the water resistance and, more importantly, could interfere with the delicate ESD properties required to protect electronic devices. To maintain the safety certifications and the manufacturer's warranty, we supply these as-is.
Use Cases
These shoes are ideally suited for technicians and engineers working in electronics manufacturing where ESD protection is mandatory. They are also an excellent choice for light industry, logistics, and automotive sectors where workers require a combination of impact protection, puncture resistance, and all-day comfort. The orthopaedic footbed compatibility makes them a versatile choice for staff with specific support requirements.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the type of socks you will be wearing. A medium-weight work sock is generally recommended to work in tandem with the padded collar and the cushioning sole. Because these shoes are designed with both men’s and women’s widths in mind, they offer a more inclusive fit across your entire workforce. If you use custom orthotic insoles, these shoes are DGUV112-191 compliant, allowing for made-to-measure footbeds without losing the safety certification.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and safety features of your footwear, it is essential to keep the outer material clean. Wipe away dust and debris with a damp cloth after each shift. Allowing dirt to build up can degrade the PU and TPU materials over time, potentially impacting the water resistance and the ESD performance.
If the shoes become wet, allow them to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Never place them directly on a radiator or use a heat gun, as extreme heat can cause the technical materials to become brittle and may weaken the adhesives used in the construction of the sole. Keeping the soles clean is equally important; ensure the treads are free from stones or grease to maintain the maximum SRC slip resistance.
