Product Overview
The I-Code S1P ESD SRC Shoe is a sophisticated piece of safety footwear designed for professionals who require a blend of agility and rigorous protection. Part of the technical I4 collection, this low shoe is engineered for environments where electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection is non-negotiable. It combines a sleek black and blue aesthetic with advanced materials, ensuring that safety does not come at the expense of professional appearance.
Key Features
BOA® Closing System: This system provides a precision fit with a simple turn of a dial, allowing for quick adjustments and ensuring the shoe remains secure without the risk of untied laces in hazardous areas.
SlimCap Toe-Cap: Tested to resist up to 200 joules, this metal-free toe-cap offers the necessary protection against heavy impacts while maintaining a slimmer profile than traditional safety footwear.
SmellStop Antibacterial Lining: The integrated lining prevents the growth of bacteria and fungi, effectively neutralising odours and maintaining a hygienic environment for your feet throughout long shifts.
Fresh’n Flex Midsole: A puncture-resistant sole that ensures sharp objects do not penetrate the footbed, providing essential underfoot safety on varied terrain.
AirTech + Tpu-Skin: This combination in the outsole and upper creates a flexible, cushioned experience that reduces fatigue by absorbing energy in the heel region.
Design & Performance
The design of the I-Code shoe focuses on longevity and user comfort. The upper is constructed from a combination of AirTech and Tpu-Skin, providing a lightweight feel that doesn't compromise on durability. The addition of an overcap enhances abrasion resistance in high-wear areas, ensuring the shoes withstand the rigours of daily use. Being entirely metal-free, these shoes are ideal for workplaces with metal detectors, such as airports or high-security facilities.
Performance is further enhanced by the SRC-rated slip resistance, providing the highest level of grip on both ceramic and steel surfaces. This ensures stability and reduces the risk of slips and falls in challenging industrial environments.
Why No Customisation?
At MyWorkwear, we take safety standards seriously. This specific item is a piece of certified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We do not offer customisation, such as embroidery or heat transfer, on these shoes because any alteration to the upper material could compromise the structural integrity, the ESD properties, or the safety certifications. Your safety remains our priority, so we provide these items in their original, tested form.
Use Cases
These shoes are specifically tailored for individuals working in electronics manufacturing, cleanrooms, and automated environments where ESD protection (EN 61340-4-3 Class 3) is a requirement. They are equally suited for light industry, logistics, and warehousing roles where a lightweight, metal-free safety shoe is preferred for all-day comfort.

Practical Advice
For the best fit, please note that this shoe is designed to accommodate both men’s and women’s widths. If you require specific support, the I-Code is compatible with orthopaedic made-to-measure footbeds that comply with European norm DGUV112-191. We recommend wearing moisture-wicking socks to complement the SmellStop lining for maximum comfort.
Caring for your product
To maintain the safety performance and lifespan of your footwear, regular maintenance is essential. Start by removing surface dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. This prevents debris from embedding into the AirTech material, which could eventually degrade the fabric's flexibility.
Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the Tpu-Skin and compromise the ESD properties of the shoe. Allow the footwear to dry naturally at room temperature. Never place them directly on a radiator or near a heat source, as excessive heat can cause the adhesives to fail and the materials to become brittle.
Regularly inspect the tread of the outsole. Removing trapped stones or debris ensures that the SRC slip resistance remains effective, keeping you stable on the job.
