Product Overview
The Dione Shoe S3L FO SR represents a sophisticated approach to safety footwear within the Smart Evo range. Designed as a low-profile shoe, it combines the aesthetic of a modern trainer with the rigorous protection required in high-stakes environments. The upper is crafted from a strategic blend of water-resistant technical textile and premium suede leather, providing a resilient barrier against the elements while maintaining a professional appearance. This shoe is not merely about protection; it is engineered for those who spend significant time on their feet and require a balance of durability and comfort.
Key Features
- SlimCap Toe-Cap: This metal-free toe-cap is tested to resist up to 200 joules, providing critical impact protection without the bulk or thermal conductivity of traditional steel.
- SmellStop Antibacterial Lining: An integrated treatment that prevents the growth of bacteria and fungi, ensuring your footwear remains fresh and hygienic throughout the working day.
- Fresh'n Flex Puncture Resistant Insole: This fabric insole protects the underside of the foot from sharp objects while remaining flexible enough to allow for natural movement.
- SR Slip Resistance: Tested on ceramic surfaces with glycerin, this outsole provides exceptional grip to help prevent slips and trips in challenging conditions.
- Hydrocarbon Resistance: The outsole is specifically designed to resist damage from oils and chemicals, extending the life of the shoe in industrial settings.
Design & Performance
Performance is at the heart of the Dione shoe, featuring an AirTech single-density mono PU outsole. This construction provides a lightweight feel that belies its substantial protective capabilities. The shock absorption in the heel region is designed to reduce fatigue, dissipating the energy from each step to protect your joints during long shifts on hard floors.
Being entirely metal-free, this shoe is an excellent choice for environments with security scanners or electromagnetic interference. The technical textile components ensure the shoe remains breathable, while the suede leather adds structural integrity and abrasion resistance where it is needed most. It also complies with DGUV112-191 norms for orthopaedic made-to-measure footbeds, allowing for personal adjustment without compromising safety standards.
Why No Customisation?
As this is a piece of safety-certified footwear, we do not offer customisation such as embroidery or heat printing. Applying such processes to safety shoes can compromise the integrity of the water-resistant materials and potentially interfere with the safety certifications (EN ISO 20345:2022). To ensure your protection remains uncompromised, we provide these items in their original, tested state.
Use Cases
The Dione Shoe is ideally suited for professionals in logistics, light engineering, and warehouse management. Its anti-static properties and hydrocarbon-resistant sole make it particularly useful in environments where electronic components or oils are present. The low-shoe design offers greater ankle mobility, making it a preferred choice for those who are frequently moving, climbing, or driving.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the type of work socks you intend to wear, as this can slightly alter the fit. The SlimCap design offers more internal space than some traditional safety shoes, but ensuring a secure fit is paramount for the slip-resistance and shock-absorption features to function correctly.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance and safety ratings of your Dione shoes, regular maintenance is essential. Neglecting the cleanliness of your footwear can lead to premature degradation of the materials and a reduction in protective capabilities.
We recommend cleaning the uppers with a soft brush or damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Allowing mud to dry and remain on the technical textile can clog the fibres, reducing breathability and potentially causing the fabric to crack over time. If the shoes become wet, allow them to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the suede leather to become brittle.
The outsole should be kept clear of stones and grime to ensure the slip-resistant tread remains effective. Regularly inspecting the sole for wear will help you identify when the hydrocarbon resistance or grip may be reaching the end of its service life.
