Product Overview

The Be-Oslo S3 WR CI HI HRO SRC is a high-specification safety boot engineered for professionals who operate in the most unforgiving environments. Part of our Special collection, this footwear is designed to provide a comprehensive protective barrier against extreme temperatures and hazardous terrain. By combining advanced water-resistance with superior thermal properties, these boots ensure that your focus remains on the job at hand rather than the discomfort of wet or cold feet.

Key Features

  • BOA® Closing System: This precision-engineered dial system allows for a perfect, secure fit with a simple turn, eliminating the need for traditional laces and the risk of them becoming untied or caught in machinery.

  • SlimCap Toe Cap: This 200-joule resistant toe cap provides critical protection against impact and compression while maintaining a lower profile and lighter feel than standard steel alternatives.

  • Primaloft® Thermal Lining: Known for its exceptional warmth-to-thickness ratio, this lining provides cold insulation down to -17°C, ensuring comfort in refrigerated environments or harsh winter conditions.

  • H2 Stop Membrane: Integrated with the water-resistant waxy leather upper, this membrane provides a complete waterproof seal while allowing moisture vapor to escape from within the boot.

  • Fresh’n Flex Midsole: A high-performance, puncture-resistant layer that protects the foot from sharp objects on the ground, such as nails or glass shards.

Design & Performance

The design of the Be-Oslo prioritises durability and multi-hazard protection. The upper is constructed from premium waxy leather and features an overcap to provide higher abrasion resistance in the toe area, extending the life of the boot for those who frequently work on their knees. The outsole is a technical triumph, utilizing double-density AirTech PU and HRO Rubber. This combination is heat resistant for up to one minute at 300°C and provides cold insulation up to 150°C (HI), making it suitable for both asphalt work and cryogenic storage environments. This is a substantial, sturdy boot that offers excellent shock absorption in the heel to reduce musculoskeletal fatigue during long shifts.

Why No Customisation?

As these boots are a critical piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we do not offer customisation or embroidery. The Be-Oslo is fitted with a technical H2 stop membrane and specialized thermal linings; any attempt to stitch or heat-apply logos would puncture these layers, compromising the waterproof integrity and thermal performance. To ensure the safety certifications (EN ISO 20345) remain valid and your protection is not diminished, we supply these boots in their factory-finished state.

Use Cases

The Be-Oslo is the preferred choice for civil engineering, extreme construction projects, and cold-chain logistics. Its specialized thermal and heat-resistant properties make it equally at home on a freezing North Sea dock as it is on a hot tarmac laying site.

Why MyWorkwear

Established in 1976, MyWorkwear has spent decades sourcing the most reliable safety gear for the UK workforce. Based in Telford, our expert team understands that in hazardous industries, the quality of your footwear is not a luxury—it is a necessity. We partner with leading manufacturers to ensure our customers receive products that meet the highest technical standards.

Practical Advice

Given the inclusion of the Primaloft® thermal lining, these boots may feel slightly more snug than a standard unlined work boot. We recommend ensuring you have adequate room for your toes to move, which helps maintain blood circulation and warmth. Additionally, ensure the BOA® dial is kept clear of heavy mud accumulation to ensure the mechanism continues to operate smoothly.

Caring for your product

Maintaining your footwear is essential for ensuring it continues to meet safety standards and provides long-lasting service. Neglecting the leather can lead to drying and cracking, which eventually allows water to bypass the outer leather layer and strain the internal membrane.

We recommend cleaning the leather upper regularly with a damp cloth to remove grit and salt, which can be particularly abrasive. Once dry, applying a suitable leather conditioner will help maintain the suppleness of the waxy leather. Never dry these boots by placing them directly on a radiator or near a high heat source, as this can cause the leather to become brittle and damage the internal technical adhesives; always allow them to dry naturally in a well-ventilated space.

Periodically inspect the outsole for wear and tear. The SRC slip resistance is dependent on the integrity of the tread pattern, so ensuring the soles are free from debris and checking for significant wear will ensure you maintain maximum grip on slippery surfaces.
