Product Overview
The Base Aerobic S1P ESD SRC is a sophisticated piece of safety footwear designed for the modern industrial professional. Part of the innovative Record collection, this low shoe is engineered to provide the protection of a safety boot with the flexibility and aesthetic of a contemporary trainer. It is a technical solution for those who require rigorous protection against punctures and impacts while maintaining a high level of comfort during long shifts on hard surfaces.
Key Features
- SlimCap Toe Protection: The 200-joule resistant SlimCap provides essential impact protection for the toes without the bulk or weight of traditional steel alternatives.
- Fresh’n Flex Midsole: This puncture-resistant sole ensures that sharp objects cannot penetrate the footbed, providing critical underfoot safety in diverse work environments.
- SmellStop Lining: An integrated antibacterial and anti-odour treatment maintains a hygienic internal environment, significantly reducing the build-up of bacteria that cause unpleasant scents.
- ESD Certification: Specifically designed to protect electronic devices from electrostatic discharges, making these shoes essential for electronics manufacturing and sensitive environments.
- Metal-Free Construction: Being non-magnetic and free from nickel and ferrous materials, these shoes are entirely metal-detector friendly, facilitating smoother transitions through security checkpoints.
Design & Performance
The performance of the Aerobic shoe is rooted in its Antifatigue AirTech and Tpu-Skin outsole technology. This design minimises the thickness of the rigid outsole to allow for a greater volume of cushioning, resulting in a shoe that absorbs energy and reduces the strain on your joints. The upper is constructed from high-quality materials that balance breathability with durability, ensuring the shoe remains resilient despite the substantial, sturdy nature of its safety components.
With its SRC slip resistance rating, the outsole provides superior grip on both ceramic and steel surfaces, even when contaminated with water or glycerine. This level of technical engineering ensures that the wearer remains stable and secure, regardless of the floor conditions.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation, such as embroidery or heat transfers, on the Base Aerobic S1P ESD SRC. This is a deliberate decision based on safety integrity. Any puncture to the technical fabrics or application of high heat could compromise the shoe's EN ISO 20345 certification and interfere with its ESD properties. Our priority is ensuring that your PPE functions exactly as intended by the manufacturer.
Use Cases
These shoes are ideal for professionals working in light industry, electronics assembly, logistics, and warehousing. Their ESD properties make them a requirement for cleanrooms and static-sensitive environments, while the anti-fatigue sole is a boon for those walking significant distances on concrete floors. Because they are metal-detector friendly, they are also highly recommended for staff working in high-security facilities or airports.

Practical Advice
The Aerobic model is available in both men’s and women’s widths, ensuring a more precise fit than generic unisex alternatives. We recommend pairing these shoes with high-quality technical socks to maximise the moisture-wicking benefits of the SmellStop lining. If you are between sizes, consider that the SlimCap offers a slightly more generous internal volume compared to standard toe caps.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and longevity of your safety shoes, consistent care is essential. Removing surface dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth prevents the build-up of debris that can degrade the Tpu-Skin over time. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents, as these can damage the ESD properties and the integrity of the synthetic materials.
If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators. Forced drying can cause the materials to become brittle and may affect the bond of the sole. Regularly checking the tread for trapped stones will ensure you continue to benefit from the maximum slip resistance provided by the SRC-rated outsole.
