Product Overview

The Nimbus Women’s Newport luxury lightweight crewneck sweatshirt represents a sophisticated approach to professional attire. Designed specifically for the modern workspace, this garment bridges the gap between relaxed comfort and a sharp, well-dressed aesthetic. It is a refined sweatshirt that avoids the bulk of traditional workwear, offering a feminine silhouette through thoughtful design elements like its distinctive neck detailing and side inserts.

Key Features
  • Feminine rib designed v-notch: This subtle design feature provides a unique visual focus at the neckline, elevating the sweatshirt above standard leisurewear.
  • 100% Organic Cotton: Crafted primarily from organic cotton, the fabric provides a soft, breathable experience that is kinder to the skin and the environment.
  • Integrated side inserts: These pieces ensure a more tailored fit that follows the natural contours of the body, preventing the garment from appearing boxy.
  • Decorative detailing: High-quality finishing touches signify a premium product that reflects well on your brand identity.

Design & Performance

The Newport sweatshirt is constructed from a medium-weight fabric that offers a substantial feel without the restrictive weight of heavy fleece. The use of organic cotton ensures natural breathability, making it an excellent choice for indoor environments where temperature regulation is essential. The inclusion of 10% viscose in the Grey Melange variant adds a touch of resilience and a smooth texture to the finish.

The durability of this sweatshirt is enhanced by the structural side inserts and ribbing, which help the garment maintain its shape even after repeated wear. The Oeko-Tex and Amfori BSCI accreditations confirm that this item meets rigorous standards for both material safety and ethical production, providing peace of mind for the conscious business owner.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This luxury sweatshirt is an ideal canvas for customisation. For those seeking a truly executive appearance, embroidery is highly recommended. Our in-house team can stitch intricate logos or staff names with precision, creating a textured, high-end finish that stands up to the rigours of daily work life.

Alternatively, if your branding requires larger, more vibrant graphics, our printing services are perfectly suited to this smooth cotton surface. Whether you choose the subtle elegance of embroidery or the bold impact of print, all customisation is handled at our dedicated facility in Telford, where we have been perfecting the craft since 1976.

Use Cases

This sweatshirt is perfectly suited for front-of-house staff, retail environments, or corporate events where a "smart-casual" dress code is required. It provides a professional alternative to a traditional blazer while maintaining a level of polish that is suitable for client-facing roles.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear understands that your uniform is a direct reflection of your business standards. We combine decades of technical expertise with the latest customisation technology at our Telford base to ensure every garment we produce meets our exacting requirements for quality and durability.

Practical Advice

The Newport features a feminine cut; we recommend reviewing the size guide, which covers sizes from XS (UK 8) up to 2XL (UK 18), to ensure the best fit. This sweatshirt layers beautifully over a collared shirt for a more formal look or can be worn as a standalone piece for a minimalist professional style.

Caring for your product

To maintain the luxurious feel and structural integrity of the organic cotton, it is important to follow standard care procedures. Proper maintenance ensures that the decorative detailing and your custom branding remain in peak condition for as long as possible.

We advise avoiding harsh chemical bleaches, as these can break down the natural cotton fibres and cause the colour of both the garment and your embroidered logo to fade prematurely. When drying, air-drying is preferable to high-heat mechanical drying to prevent any potential shrinkage and to keep the side inserts perfectly aligned.
