Product Overview

The Nimbus Women’s Harvard classic stretch deluxe polo is a refined take on a wardrobe staple, engineered for those who require their professional attire to bridge the gap between casual comfort and formal sophistication. This garment departs from the standard industrial polo by utilising a luxury material blend and a tailored silhouette. It features an open sleeve design for a more feminine profile and a four-button placket that provides a sleek, modern aesthetic suitable for high-end corporate settings or front-of-house roles.

Key Features
  • Stretch Deluxe Fitting: The inclusion of elastane allows the garment to shape stylishly to the wearer, providing a flattering silhouette without compromising on mobility.
  • Four-Button Placket: This elongated placket offers a more detailed and luxurious appearance than traditional designs, allowing for versatile styling.
  • Combed Organic Cotton: By using combed fibres, the fabric achieves a superior softness and smoothness, while the organic certification ensures a more responsible approach to sourcing.
  • Open Sleeve Design: Removing the traditional ribbed cuff creates a more relaxed yet elegant look that is particularly well-suited for professional styling.

Design & Performance

This polo shirt is constructed from a substantial fabric blend consisting of 95% combed organic cotton and 5% elastane. This composition ensures the garment remains breathable and soft against the skin throughout a full working day. The combed nature of the cotton means shorter, pricklier fibres have been removed, leaving only the long, smooth strands that resist pilling and maintain a pristine finish over time.

The performance of the Harvard polo is defined by its ability to retain its shape. The elastane component provides excellent recovery, meaning the shirt will not bag at the elbows or lose its tailored fit after repeated wear. It is a well-engineered garment that feels substantial to the touch, reflecting the quality your brand deserves.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The high-density weave of the combed organic cotton makes the Harvard polo an exceptional candidate for customisation. For a truly professional and long-lasting finish, we highly recommend embroidery. The fabric is sturdy enough to support detailed logos and names, providing a textured, premium appearance that is synonymous with established businesses.

For organisations requiring larger, more vibrant graphics—perhaps for specific events or promotional campaigns—this garment also takes print exceptionally well. Our in-house production team, based in our Telford facility, has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with precision and care to maintain the integrity of the deluxe fabric.

Use Cases

The understated originality of this polo makes it an ideal choice for more 'dressed-up' professional occasions where a standard t-shirt or basic polo might be insufficient. It is perfectly suited for corporate office environments, hospitality management, trade show representation, or any retail setting that prides itself on a polished, high-calibre appearance.

Practical Advice

The Harvard polo is designed with a tailored stretch fit. When selecting sizes, we recommend referring to our size guide to ensure the best silhouette for your team. Because of the organic cotton content and the stretch properties, this garment works excellently as a standalone piece or layered under a structured blazer for a contemporary corporate look.

Caring for your product

To maintain the luxurious feel and technical performance of your Nimbus polo, it is vital to follow the care instructions provided on the internal label. Proper maintenance ensures the organic cotton fibres remain soft and the elastane continues to provide the necessary stretch and recovery.

We recommend washing the garment inside out, particularly if it has been customised with embroidery or print. This simple step protects the branding from friction during the wash cycle, preventing premature wear and ensuring your logo remains sharp and professional for the life of the garment. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can degrade the natural organic fibres and affect the vibrancy of the fabric colour.
