Product Overview

The Nimbus Eaton premium double-faced sweatshirt is a sophisticated alternative to standard workwear, designed specifically for professional women who require both comfort and a refined appearance. Unlike typical sweatshirts, the Eaton is crafted from a bonded double-faced fabric, which provides a structured, high-quality feel that maintains its shape throughout the working day. This timeless classic serves as an elegant layering piece, bridging the gap between casual comfort and formal business attire, making it an essential addition to any corporate wardrobe.

Key Features
  • Bonded Double Face Fabric: This specialized construction creates a substantial, heavyweight feel that provides superior insulation and a smooth finish on both the interior and exterior of the garment.
  • YKK 2-Way Reverse Coil Zipper: The inclusion of a world-renowned YKK zip ensures long-term reliability and allows for adjustable ventilation and styling from both the top and bottom.
  • Organic Cotton Blend: Utilizing organic cotton ensures a soft, breathable touch against the skin while significantly reducing the environmental impact of your uniform.
  • Ribbed Hem and Cuffs: The tone-on-tone ribbing provides a secure fit and prevents the sleeves from shifting during manual tasks, maintaining a neat silhouette.

Design & Performance

Engineered with a technical blend of 71% organic cotton, 22% polyester, and 7% elastane, this sweatshirt offers the perfect balance of natural comfort and modern performance. The polyester content increases the garment's durability and resistance to shrinking, while the elastane provides a subtle stretch that allows for a full range of movement without the fabric becoming baggy. As a heavyweight garment, it offers significant warmth, making it ideal for transitioning between seasons or working in temperature-controlled environments that require a polished look.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Eaton’s smooth, double-faced surface is an exceptional canvas for customisation. For a truly professional and enduring finish, we recommend embroidery. Our in-house team uses high-quality threads to recreate company logos with precision, giving your team a cohesive and authoritative appearance. If your branding requires large, bold graphics, the fabric also supports high-quality printing. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been perfecting these techniques at our Telford facility, ensuring that every garment leaving our workshop meets our rigorous standards for clarity and durability.

Use Cases

This garment is perfectly suited for front-of-house staff, corporate offices, and management roles where a standard hoodie might appear too casual. It is equally effective for sales professionals on the road or as a premium layer for hospitality staff. Its ability to look elegant over a formal shirt or a polo shirt makes it a versatile choice for businesses that value a smart-casual aesthetic.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has nearly half a century of expertise. Since 1976, we have been the trusted choice for UK businesses, providing expert guidance and high-quality customisation from our base in Telford. We understand that your workwear is a reflection of your brand's standards, which is why we handle every aspect of the process with meticulous care.

Practical Advice

The Eaton is designed with a female-specific fit, available in sizes ranging from XS (UK 8) to 3XL (UK 20). For the most professional appearance, we recommend layering this sweatshirt over a collared shirt. The 2-way zip is particularly useful when sitting for long periods, as it can be adjusted from the bottom to prevent the fabric from bunching at the waist.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity of the bonded fabric and ensure your custom branding remains in peak condition, it is vital to follow the care instructions provided on the sewn-in tag. Proper maintenance ensures the organic cotton fibres remain soft and the elastane retains its recovery properties, preventing the garment from losing its shape over time.

Avoid using harsh chemical detergents or bleach, as these can break down the fabric's bonded layers and fade the vibrancy of your embroidered or printed logo. When drying, it is best to allow the garment to air dry naturally to avoid the high-heat stress of a tumble dryer, which can affect the tension of the custom stitching.
