Product Overview

The New Morning Studios Women's extended shoulder dress represents a refined approach to contemporary professional attire. Moving beyond traditional workwear, this garment offers a sophisticated silhouette that prioritises both physical comfort and environmental responsibility. Crafted from premium organic cotton, it provides a clean, minimalist aesthetic suitable for brands looking to convey a modern and conscious image while ensuring their team feels confident throughout the day.

Key Features
  • 100% Certified Organic Cotton: This premium fabric choice ensures a soft, natural feel against the skin while meeting rigorous global organic standards.
  • Extended Shoulder Design: A subtle yet architectural detail that adds a modern flair and distinguishes the silhouette from a standard t-shirt dress.
  • Relaxed Fit: The generous cut allows for unrestricted movement during a busy shift, ensuring comfort without sacrificing a professional appearance.
  • Thigh-Length Silhouette: Offers a versatile balance between professional coverage and a youthful, contemporary aesthetic.
  • Tagless Construction: By removing the traditional neck label, potential irritation is eliminated, significantly improving the wearer's daily experience.

Design & Performance

This garment is engineered for longevity and consistent performance in a professional setting. The medium-weight organic cotton fabric provides enough structure to maintain the dress's shape while remaining breathable for indoor environments. The absence of zips, buttons, or complex closures simplifies the dressing process and reduces the risk of mechanical failure or discomfort during extended wear.

With Amfori BSCI and Organic certifications, this dress provides peace of mind that your workwear is produced under ethical conditions. The solid pattern and round neckline create a timeless look that remains professional year after year, regardless of changing fashion trends.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth surface of the organic cotton provides an excellent canvas for branding. Our in-house customisation team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring your logo is applied with technical precision.

Embroidery is highly recommended for a superior, professional finish. Placing a small, intricate logo on the chest or the nape of the neck provides a sophisticated look that is incredibly durable. For larger, more impactful branding or promotional events, our high-quality printing process allows for vibrant, detailed designs that remain flexible and comfortable on the fabric surface.

Use Cases

This dress is particularly well-suited for boutique retail environments, modern hospitality settings, or corporate events where a formal suit is too restrictive but a professional image is still required. It is an ideal choice for organisations prioritising sustainable procurement and looking for a stylish alternative to traditional uniforms.

Practical Advice

With a comprehensive size range from XS to 5XL, this dress is designed to accommodate a diverse workforce. Because of the relaxed, draping fit, we recommend consulting our sizing guide to ensure the desired silhouette for your team. In cooler environments, this piece layers elegantly with a tailored jacket or a lightweight cardigan.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the soft finish of the organic cotton fibres, we recommend a fine wash or wool wash at 30°C. High-temperature washing can lead to unnecessary shrinkage and may degrade the natural fibres over time.

Avoid dry cleaning and tumble drying. The mechanical heat and chemicals used in these processes can damage the organic cotton and cause custom branding to peel or fade prematurely. We recommend allowing the garment to air dry naturally to preserve its shape.

If ironing is required, use a low heat setting. This prevents scorching of the fabric and protects any printed designs from melting or distorting, ensuring the dress remains in peak condition for longer.
