Product Overview

The New Morning Studios Oversized Jersey Tee (NM003) represents a shift toward more contemporary, comfortable workwear without sacrificing professional integrity. This is a substantial, heavyweight garment designed for those who require a modern silhouette and a higher level of fabric quality. Part of the New Morning Studios range, this t-shirt is built with an oversized fit that prioritises ease of movement while maintaining a clean, structured appearance. Constructed from 100% certified organic cotton, it provides a superior foundation for custom branding while demonstrating a commitment to ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility.

Key Features
  • 100% Certified Organic Cotton: This premium material offers a soft, natural handle and is better for the environment compared to conventional cotton.
  • Heavyweight Jersey Fabric: The substantial nature of this fabric ensures the garment holds its shape through repeated wear and washing cycles.
  • Oversized H-Line Silhouette: Provides a modern, relaxed aesthetic that drapes well on all body types without feeling restrictive.
  • Unisex Design: A versatile cut that ensures a consistent look across a diverse workforce.
  • Tagless Construction: Minimises skin irritation and allows for easy re-branding for retail or high-end promotional use.
  • Accredited Standards: Proudly holds Amfori BSCI and Organic certifications, ensuring ethical manufacturing practices.

Design & Performance

Performance in a t-shirt is often measured by its ability to withstand the rigours of the working day while remaining comfortable. The NM003 achieves this through its heavyweight jersey construction. Unlike thinner alternatives, this fabric provides a sturdy feel and a more structured drape that prevents the garment from looking worn out prematurely. The modern H-line cut is specifically engineered to enhance the silhouette, offering a professional yet relaxed aesthetic that fits perfectly into creative or modern business environments.

The short set-in sleeves and classic round neck are reinforced to maintain their shape, while the use of 100% organic cotton ensures breathability. This makes it an excellent choice for indoor environments where comfort over long shifts is paramount. The lack of a neck tag further enhances the wearer's experience, eliminating the common nuisance of scratchy labels.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The substantial weight of the NM003 makes it an exceptional candidate for customisation. Its dense jersey weave provides a stable surface for high-stitch-count embroidery, ensuring that professional logos and names remain crisp without the fabric puckering. Embroidery is particularly recommended for a superior, long-lasting finish that reflects the quality of your brand.

For those requiring larger, more vibrant designs, the smooth surface of the organic cotton is equally well-suited to various printing techniques. Whether you require bold graphics for a promotional event or subtle branding for staff uniforms, our Telford-based team—who have been experts in the field since 1976—will ensure your designs are applied with precision. All customisation is handled in-house to guarantee the highest standards of quality control.

Use Cases

This oversized tee is ideal for businesses looking to project a modern, conscious, and high-quality image. It is perfectly suited for creative agencies, modern retail staff, premium hospitality teams, and high-end promotional campaigns. Its unisex fit and wide size range from XXS to 5XL make it a versatile choice for outfitting an entire team with a cohesive, contemporary look.

Practical Advice

As this garment features an oversized cut, it is important to consult the sizing guide before ordering. The H-line silhouette is designed to be roomy; if your team prefers a more traditional fit, you may wish to consider selecting one size smaller than usual. For a contemporary look, it pairs excellently with slim-fit trousers or utility workwear to create a balanced professional profile.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the organic cotton and the quality of your custom branding, we recommend a 30°C fine wash or wool wash cycle. Using a gentle cycle prevents the natural fibres from breaking down and ensures the garment remains soft to the touch over time.

Avoid dry cleaning this t-shirt, as the harsh chemicals used in the process can damage both the organic cotton fibres and any applied print or embroidery. Similarly, do not tumble dry this garment; allowing it to air dry naturally will prevent shrinkage and help the heavyweight fabric retain its intended shape.

When ironing, use a low heat setting. High temperatures can scorch the organic cotton and potentially melt or distort printed designs. By following these care steps, you ensure that your investment in quality workwear continues to represent your business professionally for the long term.
