Product Overview

The Kustom Kit KK242 is a sophisticated long-sleeve shirt designed specifically for women who require a sharp, tailored silhouette throughout the working day. Constructed from a reliable poly-cotton poplin, this shirt balances professional aesthetics with the practical demands of a busy workplace. Its contemporary design features a rounded hem and a soft, stand-up collar, ensuring you remain comfortable and well-presented without the rigidity of traditional stiffeners.

Key Features
  • 7-button placket with self-coloured buttons for a sleek, cohesive finish that maintains a professional appearance.
  • Integrated under-bust and back darts which provide a feminine, contoured fit that avoids the bulkiness of standard unisex garments.
  • Adjustable two-button cuffs with a pointed placket, allowing for a precise and comfortable fit around the wrists.
  • Double-stitched sleeves and side seams, significantly increasing the garment's lifespan and resistance to the rigours of daily wear.
  • Fused soft stand-up collar without stiffeners, offering a modern look that stays neat throughout the shift.

Design & Performance

The blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton poplin is specifically chosen for its superior performance in demanding professional environments. The polyester component provides excellent colour retention and crease resistance, while the cotton ensures essential breathability against the skin. This lightweight fabric is further enhanced with an easy-iron finish, reducing maintenance time and ensuring you look crisp with minimal effort. The addition of a back yoke provides extra structural integrity across the shoulders, ensuring the shirt maintains its tailored shape even after repeated laundering.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This poplin shirt provides an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery, allowing you to showcase your brand effectively. For a refined professional aesthetic, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names; the tight weave of the poplin supports high-density stitching with exceptional clarity. If your branding requires larger, more vibrant designs, our printing processes offer a sharp, modern finish that stands out. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on nearly five decades of experience to ensure your brand is represented perfectly.

Use Cases

This garment is ideally suited for corporate office environments, hospitality front-of-house roles, and premium retail settings. Its tailored fit makes it a popular choice for uniform programmes where a consistent, high-end appearance is required. Whether worn as a standalone piece or layered under a blazer, it provides a versatile foundation for any professional wardrobe.

Practical Advice

With an inclusive size range from 6 to 28, this shirt is designed to accommodate a diverse workforce. When ordering for a team, we recommend referring to our size guide to ensure the tailored darts sit correctly for the best silhouette. This shirt layers exceptionally well under knitwear or jackets without adding unnecessary bulk, and a spare button is included because accidents can happen in even the most orderly environments.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity of the fabric and the vibrancy of your custom branding, we recommend a synthetic cycle wash at 40°C. Washing at this temperature effectively removes daily grime without putting undue stress on the poly-cotton fibres.

Avoid the use of bleach at all costs. Bleaching agents will degrade the fabric strength and cause irreparable damage to both the shirt's colour and your embroidered or printed logo.

We advise against tumble drying; instead, reshape the shirt while damp and allow it to air dry naturally. This prevents excessive shrinking and makes the ironing process significantly easier. Use a warm iron to restore the crisp finish, being careful to iron around any printed areas to protect the design. Finally, do not dry clean, as the harsh chemicals can strip the easy-iron treatment from the poplin fabric.
